Nice size beer garden out the back, downside is there is a serious lack of wine choice, as well as some spirits eg tia Maria, kahlua etc

We booked a space at the back, was great. Loads of space, one thing tho, when it start to get crowed, they rise the volume of the music, which in turn forces you to rise your voice.

Just had our work shift night out there and have to say from beginning to end they were a pleasure to deal with! Nothing was too difficult to sort out and accommodate! I ended up moving my timing forward to accommodate people for lifts etc and everything was done! Food was delivered hot and on time and was delicious everyone enjoyed the night!

Food wasn't to bad. Had the brisket. Portion was good. Over all can't compete with American BBQ. There was only 2 in my group but they can accommodate big parties.

Deep South very kindly sponsored the afterparty for the FrontRunners & Briskwalkers Cork Pride 5K 2025 in conjunction with Cork Pride. With almost 100 people attending the event the food, service and atmosphere provided was top notch and we are very grateful for the same. Special mention to Patrick, Rebecca and Freyja on the events team for co-ordinating with us on such a great event.

Great Atmosphere and Friendly Vibes! Deep South is one of my favorite spots in Cork. The atmosphere is always buzzing, whether you're there for a relaxed pint or a night out with friends. The staff are super friendly and the outdoor area is a real gem, especially on sunny days. Great selection of drinks, good music, and a welcoming crowdβ€”what more could you ask for?

08/09/2025: Had a late lunch here almost 2 weeks ago. Hake, Chips, Mushy peas, tea, bread & butter . Now this is just my opinion and I may have made the wrong choice. The fish gave me the impression that it may have been frozen as it was very wet and was a bit shy in size. The batter was just that batter. Disappointed in the chips. Why are you using a rectangular chip cutting die? It is just wrong as all it does is allow faster cooking but once served they quickly go cold and hard, not nice. The rest was adequate. This wasn't a cheap meal and all in came to €28. With hindsight I should have complained there and then but my time was limited. Hoping this was just a bad one of day for the restaurant.
07/09/2025: Don't let the queue put you off. It's worth the wait for a table. The food is super delicious. We've been there three times and it's been excellent every time.

27/09/2025: We stumbled across this place and are delighted! They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers, ciders, and cocktails. They serve pub fare, including vegetarian and vegan options. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much.
