we had eight people, and we’re given a private room. Our server was French and an excellent knowledge of the food and wine pairings. The food was first class. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star

We had a very nice meal here. The food was interesting, tasty and well presented. We really enjoyed each of the courses. The only disappointment of the night was the lack of drinks choice for non-drinkers. The options were either a Guinness 0 or a non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz. Neither very appealing as an accompaniment for food of this standard. It's several years since we found ourselves without the option of a non-alcoholic wine in a restaurant. Hopefully the team take this feedback on board and add a non alcoholic wine to the list.

Delahunt is housed in a former delicatessen and liquor store (which is even mentioned in James Joyce's Ulysses) – the historic decor from the early 20th century is a big part of its charm.
When it's full (for example, because larger groups are there at the same time), it can get quite cramped and a bit noisy. However, we were still able to have a good conversation.
The service was very friendly and attentive, with a hip, urban vibe, and a bit chaotic – which didn't bother us at all.
The menu is modern and ambitious. The flavor combinations are intriguing, but not always entirely convincing. Sometimes less would have been more. However, everything was consistently well-prepared.
Overall, an exciting, fun, and enjoyable evening.

Sheer class from beginning to end. The food was nothing short of amazing, every dish packed with flavour and presented beautifully. The lamb was genuinely next level, one of the best we’ve ever had. The service was equally impressive; the wait staff were subtle, attentive and had an eye for detail without ever feeling intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and were made to feel relaxed and welcome throughout. Delahunts is a standout restaurant and we can’t wait to return.

The duck starter was simply fabulous. Monkfish was good. Millefeuille - just ok, to me the puff pastry layers were too stiff to cut with a spoon, I guess a (sharp) knife and a fork would be a better option.

After good food and drink, my party wanted to have a drink upstairs in the Sitting Room. The staff were very helpful and first checked there was space and finding it available, enabled us to move upstairs. A perfect night with friends made memorable by Delahunt and the Sitting Room. Thanks a million!

We booked here for our wedding anniversary dinner. It asked at booking if it was for an occasion and we indicated that it was but it was never acknowledged on the night. It might have created some expectation on our part.
The food was nice, a tad expensive for what it was. The service for me didn't match the price of the food at all. We left disappointed with the experience. I'd be slow to recommend here to a friend.
