The food was mixed, fish and chips poor, special of venison not great, sole excellent, scallops excellent, starters excellent, bread stale . It was busy so perhaps kitchen was stressed. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

Maybe the most amazing place in all of Ireland but certainly Dalkey Village! Had surf and turf (x2), beet salad, arancini, and desserts. Nothing was less than excellent. A complicated service held together nicely by the hostess. Even if this place didn’t have great food, the service and atmosphere would carry the day. Reminded me of my favorite neighborhood places in New Orleans. Thanks for the lovely food and great service.

What a great place to spend an afternoon. Watching the world the world go by enjoying the food atmosphere and company staff were excellent as was the food and drink. Highly recommend this restaurant. Marty.

19/01/2026: This is BY FAR the best meal we’ve had in Dublin and honestly in many cities regardless of country or continent. The chowder was robust, complex and flavorful without the use of crab and lobster which most places lean on for flavor - I could literally have bathed in It. We also got the short rib and sea bass- Each dish was thoughtful, well seasoned and genuinely made you want to come back for more. If I find myself in Dublin again there is no question where my first meal will be. There are several Michelin recommendations in the area but they have nothing on this place - do yourself a favor and get your reservation now - I feel certain you won’t be disappointed. Chef Sean Drugan if not a legend already is certainly one in the making
14/01/2026: The mussels were outstanding, the short ribs were fork tender and slid right off the bone. The sea bass was excellent as well. The chocolate cake for dessert was magnificent. Great work guys!

01/02/2026: We have been here many times for dinner and we have never been disappointed. The scallop starter was superb, the Tiramisu dessert as good as you will get anywhere.
19/01/2026: Lovely neighbourhood restaurant in Stillorgan. Good value, friendly service, and excellent food.
