Great venue, great staff.. Fab food and cocktails

Beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff. I give ten stars for the coffee, the coffee is simply delicious. The food is very nice to look at. I recommend the crab sandwich. The onion rigs are absolutely amazing. If you are in Dalkey, come for breakfast/lunch.

A great dining experience in Dalkey. Busy, casual but efficient and beautifully prepared food. A great wine menu as well. The young woman serving our table was extremely friendly and attentive. The dressed crab starter was beautiful, served with a ginger foam. The hake main was also wonderful. This is a lovely place to dine on any occasion, and is not overpriced for what you get. I would definitely return!

The restaurant, the service on the food was amazing.

Totally delicious meal. The special starter of foie gras and duck terrine was phenomenal, and the steak frites hit the spot perfectly. Great wine selection. Staff could have been a bit less pushy on dessert/coffee but it was a weeknight and I understand the guys wanna head home. The table next to us kept taking out their phone torches to read the menu and it often disturbed my mum, catching her eyes as we were eating our meal. Perhaps you could have small standing battery charged reading lamps to offer just while reading the menus and taking them away once the order has been taken.

Love the food and ambience. Great location - recommend Finnegan's Pub around the corner for a pre-drink too. Its not cheap though ! Apr 2019 update: food is even better. Loved the Moules Mariniere followed by Fish Pie. Great service too. It's a bit tightly packed but highly recommended. Nice selection of wines and spirits, and some nice Whiskey's on the shelf too.

Excellent service and the food was really very delicious. We were a big family party attending recently and the attention we were given but the staff was exemplary. Will definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

As usual DeVille’s deliver in spades. Great spot… I’m a fan of a darker dining room, subdued lighting, a little glass of wine and very tasty food. And really nice staff… once again I can recommend!

The usual impeccable service and flawless food at De Villes. How many restaurants can you think of that a sentence such as this would begin with "The usual". Time and again De Villes consistently delivers. I'm almost glad that more people just don't know about this. Cheers to the very friendly Bar Manager who showed us to our table, and to the young lady who served us so professionally! And of course to Robert!
