DeVille's in Dublin

I was fortunate enough to be able to get a spot at the bar on a busy afternoon since the restaurant is such a popular spot for locals (and visitors). The food was so delicious. The eggs Benedict Royale were fantastic. The English muffin was so buttery and soft. The egg done to perfection. The staff was attentive. The prices were wonderful for the level of service and exceptional food.

Good quality food, friendly service, and busy atmosphere make for an enjoyable night out.

1st time there -largeish restaurant with interesting mix of spaces-we were 6 in a sort of booth towards back of restaurant -food very good -I had mussels special and starter calamari/squid which was served with spicy chilli sauce and not usual aioli-other good dishes -kidneys/caesar salad -hake and chips and duck all served professionally and friendly -good interesting wine list-overall very good occasion -I will be back ! It wasn't very busy -Tuesday lunch -but apparently very buzzy at night

Had such a lovely evening at DeVille's. Hard to get a booking but you can see why! This is such a gem for foodies. The hostess was such a pleasure and really looked after us and the other guests. Waiters were knowledgeable about the menu and wine to recommend. Just such a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Returned here for a meal on December 27th - there has been a marked improvement in the menu (separate vegan/vegetarian menu with expanded options) and a great choice of meat dishes for starters and mains. Devilled kidneys were a treat and beef bourgignon delicious, if serving a bit small (could have used more on dish vegetables). Staff extremely knowledgeable about food and drinks menus, always a sign of excellent training and low turnover. Only regret not taking photos of the food. Fantastic to see a restaurant take feedback on board as had previously remarked vegetarian options needed.

Great restaurant. They hit the high mark everytime!!

Had our annual Christmas night out here on Friday night. There was a lovely cozy atmosphere when we arrived and we were shown straight to our table, a booth on the raised level, We had a dozen oysters & some scallops to share , all were delicious. We had steaks , duck & rack of lamb as our mains and all were cooked exactly as ordered. Emily was our waitress and she was very efficient & friendly and really added to our experience. We will return very soon!

It's a very noisy atmosphere which needs to be sorted. Also it appears that you have to ask for the vegetarian menu as for some reason they don't automatically bring it with the main menu. Food was very good and it all went down well 😎

DeVille's was recommended to us by our local friends we met at Finnegan's Pub. You know it's a good sign when no tables are available, then the reservation you're able to make is for a seat at the bar. The food did not disappoint. I enjoyed the lobster special they were running which was a hat tip to the lobster festival in Dalkey that weekend. It was delicious. My daughter and husband both had steaks which, according to them, were fantastic. We enjoyed tasty drinks as well.
