Dockyard No. 8 in Bray

Fantastic breakfast, staff and setting. Great choice of breakfast options. Also a kids menu which our 8 year old granddaughter really enjoyed. The chilli eggs were delicious.

Only found by chance when working near bray- lovely warm place really nice staff and great breakfast! Highly recommend it!

Lovely cafe with a delicious breakfast. The pancakes with bacon and maple syrup were an absolute delight, and very filling too. There was plenty of seating, even the outdoor area was warm enough (the heaters were turned on). We sat on picnic benches, which was quite tight, but it added to the feeling of being outside. Staff was quick to take our orders, but we had to wait a while before we got them. But it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

The food is fine, typical Irish: burgers, salads, soup, and little else. The place is nice, especially the terrace. The only thing is that the benches are sloping and you keep slipping. You can't really eat in peace because you have to be careful not to fall. The water was a little warm and tasted strange; maybe they should look into that. The service was very good, and the atmosphere on the terrace was very conducive to conversation, even though it was quite noisy.

We had the chilli eggs and beef brisket, followed by baileys cheesecake served with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries. Main courses were freshly cooked, well seasoned, tasty and generous portion. Dessert was also very tasty, smooth and creamy, refreshing and a great finish to brunch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
