We had a great experience at Dockyard N8! The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. The chicken wings were especially delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Everything we tried was spot on. Highly recommend if you’re in Bray and looking for a place with great vibes, great food, and top-notch service.

After 3 days in Dublin, we started our drive out to the Irish countryside by heading to Bray. Our 1st day's itinerary included Powerscourt Waterfall, The Sally Gap Road, Glendalough, Kilkenny Catle and Mt. Juliet. With a day like that ahead of us we needed a good breakfast to fuel us up. As luck would have it, Dockyards No. 8 wasn't a good breakfast... it was a great breakfast. The guys had the Dockyards Breakfast and the women had the porridge. All of us started out with a cappuccino. (3 with caffeine 1 without). The Dockyards was a refined traditional Irish breakfast which the men thoroughly enjoyed. The women were pleasantly surprised by the elegance and flavor of the porridge topped with fresh fruit, candied walnuts and maple syrup. We also met the owner and had a pleasant chat after breakfast. Considering the food, service and friendliness, Dockyards No. 8 was an awesome start to the day and the Irish countryside.

Had a lovely brunch and coffees here with some family! The big terrace and tables make it a great spot to meet up and chat on a trip home. The chilli eggs are absolutely delicious, the staff were super helpful and its just such a lovely location down by the harbour! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Bray!

Wilde's Bar & Restaurant

04/06/2025: Very good service, although we sometimes had to wait a while. We had fish and chips, which ranged from good to very good. It's generally aimed more at tourists.
