Dockyard No. 8 in Bray

A hidden gem I'll definitely be back!!

Definitely one to stop by. Its easer to get parking around it the down the beach. Very friendly staff.

Very warm welcome, excellent and very generous cuisine.

Overall nice ambiance albeit located at one end of the beach. No sea view because the restaurant is permanently obstructed by the harbour trading company.

We had the chilli eggs and beef brisket, followed by baileys cheesecake served with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries. Main courses were freshly cooked, well seasoned, tasty and generous portion. Dessert was also very tasty, smooth and creamy, refreshing and a great finish to brunch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

My sister found Dockyard No8 on Google before setting of for a family daytrip. So we choose here solely on their online presence. Bingo. Such a great start to our day. We had phoned to make a reservation but it's walk in only. Thankfully they were able to provide seating for all 9 of us on arrival. The staff were welcoming and very pleasant. They attended us with great efficiency. A superb quality. The breakfast choices were fab. A brilliant selection for both adults and children and although it wasn't officially lunch time they cooked chips for our picky children and even suggested swap outs for the fussy adults. Very accommodating. We all really enjoyed our choices. Good honest cooking prepared with beautiful ingredients. Super tasty food and good portion sizes. Lovely presentation with no nonsense. Should we ever be passing again it will be on our stop list list. Definitely don't pass by.

The menu was not up to date, expect to pay between 20 and 30 euros for a dish + drink.

Fab little place at Bray Harbour

Excellent food and great service Stopped in for lunch today. Great kids menu and all adult food was delicious. Can’t fault the food, service or prices for what was a really enjoyable family meal
