Doheny and Nesbitt in Dublin

08/02/2026: A great pub in Dublin where you can listen to good music while drinking a pint of Guinness!

07/02/2026: What can I say that hasn't already been said about this amazing pub. We arrived in from a gloomy rainy day of sightseeing to a very warm reception by staff. As it was very busy we were told we would have to wait until a table became vacant. We were invited to have a drink at the bar whilst we waited. I tried my first Guinness and it is definitely not for me but my partner assures me it is fantastic. After 20 or so minutes we were seated. The irish stew warmed my body and soul. Heaven on a plate. We had only planned on stopping for a short time for food but stayed there all night. Amazing music and unbeatable atmosphere. We moved to the the bar so we could see the musicians and were kept entertained with great music and fantastic hospitality from the bar staff. My partner loved the Guinness and the vast selection of whiskey and recommendations made. I asked for some cocktails not on the menu and the staff happily obliged. We return to Ireland in June and hope to see all the amazing staff again. Special thanks to Jamie for the amazing drinks 🍸🍹🍺🍻
