Doheny and Nesbitt in Dublin

Huge pub. After spending a week pub hopping throughput Ireland this place is a bit overwhelming. There are several bars on the three levels. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Love coming here for breakfast is amazing. Food is delicious and fresh. Very friendly staff

You come for the feed of pints, the finger food was functional. D&N is all about "experience", great atmosphere, efficient friendly staff dishing out the gargle, what more is required?

Visited Doheny & Nesbitt on Friday and the bouncer at the door deserves an award - sitting outside all evening I listened to him give kind words of advice to customers and passers by, going out of his way to make sure everyone had an enjoyable and safe evening. I said this to my friends, and having sat outside for a while longer was absolutely blown away when he approached our outdoor table to say that a cosy had opened up inside and he was holding it for us. Incredibly helpful and an absolute gent, a testament to a great pub.

This place is a true hidden gem, me and my family have spend many special occasions there but the latest one was my surprise 30th bday party. We had one of the function rooms booked, so the atmosphere was amazing.Anna from Sao Paulo was our bartenden, and she was absolutely fantastic. She enjoyed the night with us and it just tells you how cool a place is when the staff is so welcoming and friendly. And it was even cooler to see the irish rugby team having a party of their own on the second floor. What a legendary night!!!

We went here for a pub food but it was just OK. The setting is great, drinks are fine, and the pub is very charming. If you are here on Baggot Street, you could have drinks here and eat elsewhere. Right across the street is Cirillo’s where we had delicious pizza and wine.

After dinner in FX Buckleys decided to go around to Baggot Street for post dinner 🍷. Decided to try Donehy and Nesbitt as I never visited this city pub. Great atmosphere and busy this evening. It’s full of character and charm. A proper original Irish ☘️ pub. I can see why it’s famous and a must visit for tourists.
