Donatello's Restaurant in Maynooth

Good food, but the service can be a bit spotty. That said I would still recommend it.

The pizzas arrived quite quickly, were quite large, and truly delicious. The "service," however, was completely unacceptable. Both when ordering and when attempting to pay the bill, we not only missed the relevant signals, but also apparently consistently ignored them. We were tempted to ask, "And what do you do for a living?"

Stopped here with my son on a sunny midweek evening. Lovely food friendly service. Will be back

We came in for lunch so we were the only people there. The service was really professional and also fast. The food is quite pricey but you get what you pay for. I had the carbonara and it was perfectly balanced. My girlfriend got the tarentella pizza which was quite delicious. The dough was nice and light and the basil was fresh.

Had dinner at Donatello’s near Carton House Fairmont – unreal food and top-class service. My fave was the Penne Amatriciana (€23) – spicy Napoletana ragu with pancetta, basil, and a touch of cream… insanely good. Staff were lovely, super attentive without being over the top. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Mention this review to receive free extra smiles 😊

Hi dined last evening for first time with family. Don't think I will be back. While food was ok' , a little expensive i thought, service wasn't. Left short in our drink order, had to ask for it to be completed. Asked for a refil during our meal didn't come so had to remind waiter. Only had one dessert but had to ask for desert spoon.

The food was very good! Kid-friendly! I'd go back anytime!

Great place for a good meal , staff very helpful

Fantastic pizzas, well worth visiting Maynooth for these alone! A special note for the fantastic host who assisted when I needed to move tables with two kids in tow! Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, this was facilitated with minimum fuss.

Love this place, it's always consistent with food I'm never disappointed 🙂
