Donatello's Restaurant in Maynooth

Used to loved this place but after today’s experience unfortunately won’t be coming back. Everything was fine until after we got main course. No one came to ask us if we finished, if everything's okay, if we want another drink maybe?! After 30min we had to ask for receipt. Have in mind that restaurant wasn’t full and they definitely had time to come to us as they should !? (Prove me wrong) When we called them to ask for receipt, again, no: ‘ was everything okay guys’? You don’t want anything else?’ You should work on your service :)!

Super food with a great atmosphere

Our first time eating in Donatellos today , the food was amazing but if that didn’t make you want to come back , then our waiter Madison definitely would !! Full of energy and very attentive , and that was with every single table he served . What an experience.

We had a beautiful meal in Donatello’s on a Wednesday evening. The service was fantastic! The service was excellent from start to finish. We were greeted at the door and offered comfortable two seater seating which I was delighted because I’m heavily pregnant. I had a margarita pizza and my mum had a chicken pasta. Both were delicious and fresh! We loved the desserts, profiteroles and cheesecake were both 5 stars. The service was incredible and we never wanted for anything! The waiter even chased us down the road with my bag that I had forgotten! A true gem!

Highly recommend 3rd/4th time to dine here in recent months Fish was fabulous Linguine fish was also beaufiful also loads of fish & not drowned in pasta . Really lovely & Pizza's are really authentic

Went to this place for an anniversary dinner last year after the restaurant we had reserved fell through. We walked in and were seated straight away. The carbonara is one of my favourites I've ever had. Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. Going to this restaurant turned what looked like was going to be a horribe anniversary into a truly lovely night

Food was good and tasty, service was discreet and attentive. Will definitely go back, soon.

Had our Christmas Party here, food and service was amazing. Would highly recommend for family/friends and large groups. Thank you for a great night.
