Donkey Fords in Limerick

You know what you are getting in Donkeys. 1 chip means 2 and half chips. 1 fish means 2 fish !!

A true old school fish and chipper with the food served the only wat it should be.....in butchers paper....food wasn't oily. Food tasted fresh, massive portions, shame to not finish it. Comming from Australia, it's well worth the visit.

Have been getting food here since the beginning of time, and before. My earliest memories of Donkey Ford's chips, is in the 80's, watching james bond on RTE say at 9:00pm on the weekend. Dad would go in and order and we would feast when he'd return. There is no dine-in here, only take away. In the famous news paper wrapped chips.
