Luggage service was provided at check-in and check-out.
Changing rooms was no problem, as we were unable to use the stairs due to mobility issues.
Breakfast was excellent and the service throughout was superb.

Stayed here with my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The team couldn't do enough for them, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Ross carried all their luggage from the car to their room - both parents have walking sticks. Leanne was also a smiling helpful lady. Karen our waitress had such a lovely way with her and kept the one liners coming which charmed my parents. They love the banter! The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, well appointed and recently refurbished. The supervisor at breakfast was excellent too, we didn't catch his name but he was another real asset. We caught him about to head out to the car with my parents luggage in the rain, just stopped him in time - we had coats he didn't!
This has got to be the friendliest hotel in ireland! Well done everyone, you aced the customer journey 👏🏻

Absolutely fantastic hotel, cant recommend enough. Lovely cosy seating spots, welcoming friendly staff, delicious food, relaxing comfortable bar. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are spotless, spacious and bright. First time to stay here and will most definitely be back!

I haven’t actually stayed at Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford yet, but I feel compelled to write this review based on their exceptional customer service.
We had a non-refundable booking through Booking.com, and unfortunately, today our daughter broke her leg. I called the hotel to explain the situation, fully expecting that, given the policy, there wouldn’t be much they could do.
To my surprise, they immediately reassured me and kindly cancelled the reservation without any hesitation or issues. Their empathy, understanding, and willingness to help in such a stressful moment meant a lot to us.
It’s rare to find such genuine kindness and flexibility, especially when they were under no obligation to do so. Because of this experience alone, we will definitely choose Dooley’s Hotel when we visit Waterford in the future.
Thank you again for your compassion and outstanding service.

I had a really great stay at Dooley’s hotel in Waterford city and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever I needed anything. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is also a huge plus — right in the centre of the city and close to everything, making it easy to get around. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with kind staff. I can see management are doing a good job as every staff member was smiling and happy. The rooms are so clean and cosy. The location is perfect. The food at the hotel is also delicious and elegantly presented.
