Nice place to visit, lovely peaceful atmosphere, beautiful scenery around

Our initial schedule was sleep overnight and leave 8am next morning after breakfast. After seeing the place, our group of 30 requested that we leave later 11:30am instead of 8am, so we can enjoy the place. And truly that was a good decision. This place is wonderful and people are friendly, kind and hospitable. I was able to borrow bike and go around to enjoy the beautiful scenery of this place. I would like to comeback to this place in the future if opportunity permits.

I was only there briefly, on a typically rainy Irish afternoon. Very homely interior, perfect atmosphere guaranteed and Irish lords in tuxedos for afternoon tea. Mine stayed in the closet, lol I treated myself to a slightly higher category whiskey, say €60.00 (one glass) but it was really worth it!!! If you are in the area you should definitely plan a visit, it's worth it!!!

Beautiful afternoon tea at the castle!! The season was held in a stunning room with such character, looking out onto the water. Amazing view. All of the food was beautiful and you could get second helpings to anything you want. Endless helpings of tea! Beautiful smoked salmon on homeade brown soda bread - Devine!! Service was impeccable. Will definitely be back!

Spent two nights here during our Ireland vacation and were totally pampered. Hawk Walk was a highlight, along with amazing food, service, and scenery.

Visited the spa as a special treat with my mam for her birthday. I could not rate the experience or recommend more.

The highlight of our trip! A luxury hotel in a beautiful setting. The cocktails, food, and service were excellent. We will be back.

If you know anything about having a high tea and you will appreciate every aspect of this excursion. I did not stay at the hotel, we only went for the afternoon tea and it was amazing! The finger sandwiches were DELISH! Pastries and cakes were beautiful and DELISH! The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion and the service staff could not have been better. Will definitely be taking my granddaughters back when they get old enough to appreciate it...my HUBBY LOVED IT TOO!!!!!! (and he's an Alabama boy!) Pleeeeze dress appropriately! It's a very special occasion and it kind of brings the level of special"ness" down if someone comes in jeans! Don't have to go overboard but I would say DEFINITELY don't wear jeans but that's just me....LOVE LOVE LOVE! Scones were UH mazing too! With their special whipped cream. Yum yum yum

We didn’t have a reservation but was allowed to drive around and take pix. Amazing!

First of all, this hotel is a 6 Star experience - impeccable service and fabulous ambiance. We had high tea in the main restaurant (wonderful but with way too much food) and dinner in the casual restaurant at the golf course - The Fig Tree. The seafood chowder and fish & chips were the best we tasted in Ireland. There were lots of beer choices (of course)and a nice selection of wines by the glass. Charming and efficient young servers completed the scene.
