Dromoland Castle in

Wife and I visited Ireland for her 40th birthday. One of our stays was at Dromoland Castle. Super nice place, great staff, beautiful scenery. I went out and played 9 holes on the golf course, which was a treat in itself. Highly recommend!!!

EXCEPTIONAL WEDDING VENUE! Dromoland served as our romantic dream destination wedding venue. They provided exceptional service that surpassed what we could’ve received in the States. All of their recommended vendors were amazing making planning a breeze from across the pond. We stayed for one night on our honeymoon and we're treated brilliantly. We got a complimentary upgrade to a fabulous suite. Food was amazing and so was the service. Only small gripe would be the cost of cocktails in the cocktail bar. It is a gorgeous bar but 25 euro average price seemed excessive. Otherwise absolutely no complaints and a beautiful place to stay. We appreciate the lovely touches we were given for our honeymoon and we will be back

We spent a truly magical Christmas weekend at Dromoland Castle. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere set the tone for the entire stay. Our room, the Queen Anne Suite, was beautiful and spacious, with a separate sitting area. The tea tray with biscuits, chocolates, and other treats was a lovely touch, as was the Christmas tree in the room. The bathroom was well equipped with everything we needed. The food was excellent both in the castle and at Fig Tree Restaurant. The grounds and gardens are stunning in any season, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk. Our favourite spot is the castle is by the fireplace in The Gallery. Afternoon Tea at Earl of Thomond Restaurant is a special treat. Thank you for such a memorable stay - see you soon!

Stunning venue. The rooms and facilities are great and staff is very friendly. Totally worth it.

fantastic stay in Dromoland with my family. restaurant dinner was fantastic . cooked breakfast was poor for the standard of the hotel. so many places to chill and relax in front of open fires…..pity they had no newspapers or books to read !

After a full day of travel from the west coast of the US- including 3 hours of nighttime driving for the first time on the left side of the road- we were greeted with a smile and some humor when we finally arrived here, and the visit just got better after that. The room was wonderful, and the hotel's amenities were top-notch. The staff- everyone- was super friendly and helpful and the grounds; good lord what a beautiful place. Really appreciate the rainbow that was thrown in on our morning walk at no extra charge :)

Fantastic Christmas decorations, staff are so friendly and attentive. Some great activities on site which are complementary such as Cycling and Row Boat rental. 10/10 Also, the turn down service each night was the best i have seen from any hotel.
