Dunbrody Famine Ship in New ross

We visited at 12,30 on a dull wet Monday morning and our spirits were immediately improved. A bright spacious dining area with fabulous views of the river and surrounding areas. Our servers were very capable and on their recommendation of scampi with chips and salad and a chicken curry with rice was ordered . We didn't have to wait long for it to arrive and the servings were generous. The food was delicious and the banter with staff and some other customers was lighthearted and good humoured . They are celebrating their 25 anniversary and look good for the next 25 ! Best wishes and we will be back !

Very nice staff and food was nice.

Stopped here for a meal, had fish n chips, and I must say they were absolutely gorgeous! Portions were big and fish was fresh. The server Max was really attractive and anticipated our needs with care when our daughter wasn't well. Max made us feel like in a 5 star restaurant! Deserves a pay rise!

We had a lovely breakfast here after our tour of the dunbrody. It was really nice and very reasonable price. The staff were really friendly and nice.

I ate my first fish and ship in Ireland and it's delicious. The server is really polite and kind. I recommend this restaurant.

A great place to grab a bite with an incredible view of the water and the ship. The prices on the menu are reasonable, the portions are large. The children's portion is generally gigantic. The waiting time is no more than 10 minutes. Despite the popularity of this place, there are almost always seats here. Overall, I am happy with my visit to this place, I think we will visit here more than once.
