Dwyers Garden Café in Cork

Lovely garden store. Admittedly I mainly popped in for a cuppa as it was so close to home. The coffees and croissants are great. The meals on offer include light snacks and breakfast and lunch options, which look really great also. I brought my dog with me, however Dwyers do prefer that you only bring assistance dogs. I hope one day all dogs will be welcome. With their clientele being an older population each time I've visited, I know that many patrons would love to see dogs visit too. Maybe there could be a seperate entrance and exit point for the dogs 🥰 Thank you Dwyers for all the great coffees and chats ♥️

This is a really lovely place to eat relax. Food is great. The staff are amazing. Great service and a great work ethics.

Dropping a couple of stars due to the outrageous price they wanted to charge for having a cappuccino made with oat milk. 80cent extra. I'm currently checking other cafes in the area to see if they charge people extra for Oat milk. Many places in Douglas now don't charge for Oat milk, they don't believe in penalizing people with different food / drink requirements. It's already expensive for a cappacino , the punitive charge the oat milk just makes it ridiculous. I will be a avoiding here from now on. Down with Price Gouging.

The mini-breakfast is good, lunch not so much… I got a chicken burger which was mostly overcooked batter and a very thin piece of chicken in the middle. Had a hoisin wrap another day, again overcooked deep-fried chicken, not great. The chips were good

So my only problem was the very tasty new york Ruben was cold...... served on lukewarm plate. Iv always gotten them toasted ...... so wasnt quiet what I was looking forward to.
