The Bookshelf Coffee House in Cork

I had their coconut porridge which was INCREDIBLE. I went back for it. It is extremely filling for me, so don't underestimate it as a breakfast option. I haven't tried their other food yet (soon I hope). Staff is nice and quick. Cute atmosphere, no overwhelmingly loud music. I like that there is seating upstairs as well, it helps divide the noise since the place is small. This is not the best place to go open a laptop and do some work for a long time, but it is a nice place to do some reading.

It's OK. No big deal... a typical coffee cafe with a hipster vibe. Typical coffee selection, and it's not bad when it's not busy. Make sure you get there more than 30 minutes before closing if you don't want your coffee in a takeaway cup when having it inside.

Had a delicious sourdough chicken pesto sandwich there today but to be brutally honest, I couldn't really taste the pesto. Nicely served with a small side salad and good coffee.

Been a while since the last time I was here 9y ago. To my delight, this coffee shop is still serving great specialty coffee: The Barn is what they had today!
