Just back home here in Meath from a wonderful week spent in Dunmore East...we stayed in Harbour Village, where we rented a house...weather almost tropical for 5 days out of 7. We had such fresh food everywhere we dines in the Village..East Pier is a delightful little place...a nice little menu with something for everyone. Fish is so succulent and fresh with the best chips ever...we visited a couple of evenings so had rib eye steak burgers one evening, and scampi and fish of the day another... so so tasty....and great fun sitting outdoors in the beautiful weather enjoying...the Lady owner is brilliant...very welcoming and friendly and great craic. .on leaving for home we shopped a little in her fish shop. .looking forward to another visit to Dunmore East during the Summer and will be popping in again to try the Oysters and melt in the mouth tasty chips...so if passing pop in and enjoy as we did...Thank You.
If you're a fish lover, you should pay East Pier a visit. This 'fast-food' fish and chips take away serves fresh fish, local oysters, lovely burgers and delicious scampi.
The fish was crispy and yummy. Gluten free options available.
Despite the busy sunny day the service was very friendly and fast.
Nice atmosphere and great views of the harbour. Well worth a visit!
