Edward Harrigan & Sons in Newbridge

I found the staff extremely friendly. I have a leg brace at the moment and they immediately suggested to switch to a table below the steps and advised of the option to use a different toilet if necessary. The food was lovely and excellently presented.

My friend and I ate at Harrigan's a couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere, food and service were all great. The Irish sirloin steak and whiskey peppercorn sauce was the best I've had in a long time; delicious. The Old Fashion cocktail was expertly made. And the young lad that was serving us was polite, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Get yourself down there!

What a lovely meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so cosy and relaxing and had all been decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed two starters of both the special Thai chilli wings and the potato skins and they were just amazing. The highlight for us was the two steak on the stones, recommended to us by the lovely manager, we had one fillet and one sirloin and both were cooked perfectly and there wasn’t anything left at the end. The whiskey peppered sauce and twice cooked chips mushroom and the amazing mash were to die for. All topped off with a delicious brownie with caramel ice cream and a cappuccino. It was perfect. Can’t recommend it enough and we will definitely be soon. Would 100% recommend to anyone, especially for a special occasion too.

Had never been to Harrigan's before, thought the atmosphere was lovely with people having drinks up the front and the eating area down the back , where it was still quite enough to chat but you also had the buzz.. the food was really really good , I had the potato skins and braised beef fetherblade ( yum yum ) and my partner had chicken wings and the duck and we were both more than happy with our choices ..we were waiting a long time between our starter and main , I think there was some mix up but it was worth the wait ..the young staff were great and very attentive, though I do think when there's an issue with delay it's better for the manager on duty to explain (not a criticism but we just felt it would have been better) .. we were also very happy with the price paid as the meal justified it .. we will most definitely be returning for another lovely meal soon.

Very nice atmosphere and Guinness. Food is decent too worth a visit. Am yet to try the steak. Fish and chips is very nice. Braised beef is very nice too. Chicken is supreme is good also. Staff friendly and helpful. Helpful also if gluten free.

Great service and fantastic food especially the beef croquettes

Brilliant restaurant. Great atmosphere and service, lovely food and generous portions. We had a large table of 10 and the staff were excellent, and they gave us a complimentary birthday brownie for my mam’s 50th as well. Espresso martini one of the nicest I’ve had in a while, very sweet while still being strong coffee wise. Would definitely return or recommend for an occasion.

Harrigans in Newbridge’s s the place to go for amazing food. New menus and new chef …..selection is unbelievable . Starters were absolutely Devine and tasty ….. I couldn’t recommend spending your money here. You won’t regret it . 🤯

We both had a gorgeous meal last night. We both had the duck which was gorgeous.
