Fantastic as always tonight. Great food, great staff & a great atmosphere. Our go to place for a steak in Kildare. We only hope it reopens very soon!

Great food, nice atmosphere and well worth a visit. Sad to hear it will stop doing food soon and hope its only a short term stoppage as the food both times we visited was really nice. We were a group of 4 the first time and 2 the second and none of the food could be faulted. Lemon sole bites, wings, featherblade of beef and fillet steak were all delicious.

We went here for a family dinner in Saturday 3rd of January. There were 6 of us. Food was tasty, everyone was happy. Wine was ok. Atmosphere is good but service was quite slow. It's one of our locals, so we'll be back

I've never had a bad meal here. Returned this week with a large group for a Christmas party. I had the Sea Bream and it was fantastic. The girl that took care of our table was excellent (unfortunately I didn't get her name). I docked one star for service because the guy that was also waiting our table failed to return to the table with fresh bottled water after I had requested it. That said, the restaurant was full and the staff were incredibly busy. Our entire group enjoyed the food and experience overall. I would recommend without hesitation. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, nor am I Coeliac/Gluten intolerant, but there is a wide variety of menu options to cater for those that require it. I feel that I got excellent value for money and I look forward to coming back.

I recently dined at **Harrigan’s** with a group of 15 people, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Despite our large party, the staff handled everything smoothly, professionally, and with genuine friendliness. I started with the **mussels**, which were fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The broth was rich and delicious—good enough to finish with a spoon! For my main, I had the **fish and chips**, and it was exactly what you hope for: crispy, golden batter on the outside, tender flaky fish on the inside, and perfectly seasoned chips. Absolutely spot-on comfort food done really well. To finish, I had the **brownie**, and it was the perfect end to the meal—warm, rich, and indulgent without being too heavy. What really impressed me was that the restaurant served all **14 others in our group** just as efficiently, with everyone’s meals arriving together, hot and well-presented. It’s rare to see such seamless service with a group that size. Overall, Harrigan’s delivered excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, whether you’re dining solo or with a big group!

Edited review. Previously gave one star 5 years ago. Been back twice the last year. Steak not cooked the way we asked first time but they took it back and re-done. Staff really looked after us for the whole night. Great service and food. So came back again and everything was fantastic. Service food and drinks. 👍

Excellent food. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The restaurant was very clean and the decor very nice
