Had a really nice birthday meal for my partner in Elbow Lane. Really kind birthday greeting given, we got seated immediately and in a cozy corner with a view of the kitchen. Our server was prompt and friendly, had our order taken and drinks on table soon after. Food was excellent, couldn't fault a thing! My steak was gorgeous and the other half had lamb rump (they're obsessed with the Jus!). Glad we chose the simple Lemon verbena ice cream to finish as it was very tasty but not heavy. Only minor gripe was we were sat by a table of older women who were loud and shot us some quizzical glances. Otherwise, the night was perfect!

A wonderful find in Cork. A delightful and bustling yet cosy restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain what was on offer. The Ribeye steaks were outstanding and the pepper sauce grating and charred broccoli were the perfect accompaniments. Sadly we had no room for dessert. A great restaurant.

I rarely go out of my way to leave a review, but this is one of the best places I've stopped to eat in. Starters were delicious, rib eye steak was perfect, dessert was amazing. Drinks throughout were great (we started with pints, had wine with the meal, a cocktail with dessert). Service was great without being imposing. All around fantastic restaurant, easily one of the best Cork.
