Ely Wine Bar in Dublin

We booked ELY wine bar for our friends Hen party. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Never an empty wine glass, always filled. The food was delicious and there were many options available to suit everyone. Would highly recommend coming here for an event.

We visited Ely with a large group and booked their private dining area. Everything was great, the food was lovely and the service was amazing, any questions we had before our event was also answered very quickly and they were very helpful in every aspect. We would definitely return again for our next event.

This is a lovely friendly wine bar. I was there for a business dinner. There's a nice celler wine bar for casual dining and drinks.

Amazing little wine bar in the basement. Very cosy and comfortable - staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive. Meals were delicious!

Held a private graduation celebration at Ely and it was a wonderful experience! From the delicious food to the gorgeous room and amazing service, it was a fabulous event. Carol and the whole team were great and so facilitating. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a venue for an event in Dublin

We had a private dining night with Ely and we couldn’t be happier. Carol and her team were fantastic. Service and food were exceptional. We had 3 small kids running about too and the staff were very accommodating towards them. As we had the private room we also had a dedicated staff member serving only us all night which was a very nice touch and unexpected.

We had a fantastic evening from start to finish. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the staff made us feel comfortable right away. The food was excellent, with creative fusion dishes that felt unique and full of flavour. The wine selection was especially impressive, featuring exciting and unconventional wines that you rarely find available by the glass. A special mention goes to Daniel, the sommelier, whose enthusiasm and passion truly elevated the experience. His knowledge and the stories he shared about the wines made the evening even more memorable.

My friend and I stopped by here after work for a glass of wine but ended up having dinner also. What a cool place, the atmosphere, the vibe, the warm welcome. Menu is affordable and wine list is impressive. We were served by Carol, lovely soul and definitely knows her guests well. She recommended what we should eat and drink and we were not disappointed. Thank you Carol for Being a great server with so much knowledge x

Had a really nice meal here recently. The food was excellent, the wine list was very good and the service was top notch. The location is ideal as well — tucked away just off St. Stephen’s Green and close to Merrion Square, so it has that perfect Dublin city atmosphere without feeling overly hectic. The whole place had a really buzzy, lively feel while still being relaxed enough to properly enjoy dinner and a bottle of wine. Would definitely recommend it and will be back again.

Ely Wine Bar is one of my to go favourite restaurants - just off Merrion Row close to Shelbourne Hotel. The food here is consistenly excellent with a menu that has something for every palate. They also have a impressive wine list making it a perfect destination for wine lovers or anyone looking to pair their meal with something special. They also have a private dinning room for those planning a special occasion or large gathering. Definately worth a visit.
