Emiliano's in Waterford

The food here is amazing, a really authentic Italian. The Antipasto starter to share was delicious, our pastas were both incredibly nice and filling. The service was very friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

Best food and best staff 10/10 couldn't get better

Emiliano's delivered an incredibly authentic Italian experience, with some concessions to local preferences. The ambience is super nice. The interior design makes it feel like one is in a trattoria in the center/south of Italy during summer. Most of the waiters and waitresses are Italian. They are all very attentive. The menu has a lot of truly Italian courses with a few things that probably try to accommodate local taste. Everything I tried was very good. Some things were good but not in the way I would have expected. For example the pasta with meatballs didn't have the type of taste that I would expect to find in a restaurant, rich and filling, but it tasted like an Italian mum or grandma may prepare for the family during a normal day. This place came highly recommended by a friend who lives in Waterford and I can see why. I will definitely go back when in the area.

Long standing Waterford Restaurant that has stayed consistently good over the years. It really captures an Italian feel inside, the food is excellent (come hungry!) A lot of the staff seem to have worked there a long time and are great to make recommendations, can also alter the menu for dietary requirements.

If you find yourself in Waterford and are looking for a place to eat, we highly recommend Emiliano’s! Honestly, it’s some of the best Italian food you’ll find anywhere, and the owner couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating while my wife and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary with friends and family. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent food as always. Make a reservation. Usually booked out because of its popularity. This time food was cooked by Emiliano himself. Goats cheese starter in particular was to die for.

Best Italian outside of Italy you will ever have. Period. Tried pasta, meats, starters, desserts, mind blowing, complex, authentic. Finished with delicious limoncello. Just wow.
