This is my local pub for a long time. Good atmosphere, nice drinks, good friendly people, very professional staff. Thank you, Eugene! Very recommend to everyone!

1st time in Eugene's Lounge on Shandon Street Cork city! Small but spotless clean bar fabulous staff owner I believe behind the bar clean and perfect pint of Guinness here! Cozy old style Irish bar good prices here too. Not been robbed like other Bars who have gone Greedy! Nice find Eugene's Lounge nice to go on own or with someone for a relaxing drink. Cash Only! No Cards!

08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.

04/05/2025: Ordered the kinder Bueno cookie dough. Tasted fantastic and felt very indulgent!
05/04/2025: This place is a gem. They have such a wide variety of ice-cream and other sweet treats. Prices are reasonable for what you get, they never skimp on sauce or toppings. It can get quite busy when it’s a nice day but the shop is big enough that there is space to stand. Service is quick and there is one particular staff member who is so friendly and nice, constantly calling my friends and I ‘sweetie’ or ‘hun’ and is extremely polite and patient. Overall 1000% recommend.
