We visited here while fishing in May and had a few pints while sitting outside an excellent pub and great Guinness we will be back.

If I could give more stars for the atmosphere and service I would. Every member of staff are friendly and welcoming. We stayed above the pub in their newly renovated rooms, everything was perfect. It's a place we will definitely return to.

Powers Thatch Bar & Restaurant

16/11/2025: The food was very good and reasonably priced. The service was very friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for lunch after exploring Connemara National Park.
15/11/2025: Thatched roof atmosphere continues inside and is very quaint and homey, but didn't feel cheap or outdated.
