Amazing pizza. Wonderful flavourful base. Tasty topping. This is proper pizza. Best i have had in a long time. I came back for the pasta on the chef's recommendation and i was not disappointed. The 'Nduja rigatoni is a must try. I have really enjoyed mushroom pasta too. Its hard to get good pasta in ireland but this is some of the best i have had. Come and get some of the best pasta in Ireland here!

Beautiful little gem steps from the Maynooth Castle. Excellent service, delicious food. You can't go wrong with this one. We had the gnocchi and Margherita pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked, the gnocchi has a strong flavored cheese base which is salty (just something to be mindful of)

Amazing pizza. I was so impressed. The Italian Sausage is really to die for. The dough is light and perfectly salty and delicious. On top of that the host/waiter was absolutely lovely and attentive, just as the kitchen staff. 100% recommend!

Went yesterday with my family. The pasta was nice and tasty but unfortunately, the pizza was overcooked and burnt to black on the edges. The girl who served us Alison was so nice and kind. We give them another chance and will be back again sometime in the future. I can recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice pasta in Maynooth...

Mamma mia che pizza! ;D I had a fantastic pizza here today! La buffala (con rucola) really enjoyed it. The service was super, fast & friendly! Enjoyed the full bodied delicious primitivo wine too. I'll be back!!

The pizza here is great. However, the place is undeniably dirty. There was even a smell when we first entered (like dirty mop water) that made us question if we should leave. Thank god they opened the door a few seconds later and we stayed.

A real little Italian gem in the middle of Ireland... the food is more than excellent, truly commendable... the space and terrace are quite cramped but the food is truly top notch...see you again

Went with my partner on Bank Holiday Monday, the weather was great and we sat outside. We just stumbled across this restaurant so had no expectations. But I can say we left PLEASANTLY surprised. We just moved to Ireland and we will definitely be coming here more often. My partner had a pizza and I had the rigatoni sausage pasta and both were AMAZING. My boyfriend lived in Italy for 2 years and he commented how great it was to have some 'authentic' food again. Service was great and maybe we are used to Dublin city center prices but this was great value!!

24/06/2025: Amazing food and service, can't wait to go back! The fantastic food at Sasta in Maynooth was unreal, genuinely above and beyond what we expected. Every single dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care and quality behind what’s served here What made the experience even better was the service. We didn’t catch the name of the lovely girl who took care of us, but she was so warm, helpful and genuinely friendly — hopefully she’ll know it’s her if she sees this! A special shout-out as well to Andres, who helped us pick our desserts, (Ube Cheesecake), his recommendation was spot on. We’ll definitely be back. Between the amazing food and the brilliant team, Sasta is the perfect spot. 😋😋

Cunninghams Bar Kildare

06/06/2025: We had an amazing experience! Food was very good. The chicken cashew was the best choice! I know, not something you'd expect at the best pub in Kildare, I was surprised as well. But, nevertheless, it's very good. The staff was very friendly, even for Irish standards. Glad I stopped here for a few hours.
24/05/2025: Lovely spot ,staff friendly and very helpful, lovely atmosphere, food we got was lovely and well presented, pity it's mostly Chinese style
