FINE in Athlone

Went here last Friday evening with 2 friends for the Friday evening aperetivo. Had a selection of italian foods that you wouldn't normally experience in an Italian restaurant along with a selection of bruschetta. A lovely glass of nero d'avola. Very generous selection of food , great flavour and great value. We will be back!

The pizza is just chef's kiss. I'm vegan and delighted to see 2 vegan options for the menu (marinara and vegan). It's a weekly appointment I can't miss out. The coffee is authentic Italian espresso. And the staff couldn't be lovelier! The very best to Chiara, Roberto and their family!

Delicious Italian style pizza! I ordered the Margherita, and it was awsome. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, a real taste of Italy. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! 🍕🇮🇹 grazzie mille to Roberto!

This is what real pizza tastes like! Light, airy crust, flavorful sauce and toppings. I’ve tried the Margherita and Diavola so far, both amazing - can’t wait to go back for the others. Highly recommend!

The sweetest place in Athlone. Exceptional coffee, great food, greater treats, and the greatest hosts.

I’m heartbroken to be saying goodbye to Fine. For more than 5 years, I've worked just a few steps from this place and throughout the years it has felt like more than just a coffee shop to me. The coffee? The best in town as said by many. The food? Delicious and comforting. The vibes? exquisite and cosy. But what truly made Fine special was the people. Ciaran,Laura, Axel, Laoise, Gary, Claire, Sinead, Emily, Shane and many other lovely staff members not only kept me well-fed but also have provided a warm, welcoming space where I’ve started my mornings, taken many many breaks, vented, laughed, ended my day, the team who knew to be reaching for the teabags and oat milk before I was in the door and who always greeted me and said goodbye with a smile, and made every visit feel like home. It’s hard to imagine my routine without this place, and I know I’m not alone in saying that Fine will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything—you’ve created something truly special, and I wish you all the best in your next chapter. ❤️
