It's the oldest pub in Ireland. I loved it; the decor is filled with old fishing rods, police patches, and lots of odds and ends. They have all kinds of beers and live music on certain days. There's paid street parking nearby.

Great place for food. Got the Leinster rugby match on one of the TVs after a lot of tuning and chasing of boxes but got there in the end which was great.

The steak—perfectly cooked, beautifully seared, and bursting with flavor—was one of the best I’ve ever had. Sides were rich and satisfying, and the dessert was the perfect finish. If you’re serious about steak, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.

30/06/2025: We made a stop here for lunch on our way from Dublin to Galway, and it was such a great experience! Excellent vegan options, generous portion sizes, super friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
11/06/2025: Had a black pepper sausage bap which was absolutely unbelievably fantastic and an amazing americano. Place was nice and staff were friendly and’s nice.
