Small bar with a nice buzz about it. Staff were quick to look after us despite it being busy, which is great. Worth stopping by for a pint.

This was extraordinary. We went there for my bday. If those walls could talk. From the moment we went in, we could feel the place was special. Ryan and Matthew were friendly and shared history with us.

Not convinced it's the oldest pub in Ireland. Locals also don't think it is. Otherwise, an okay little spot. Very tourist vibe.

Great atmosphere even on Monday when everywhere else is quiet. Nice pint & loved the decor, well worth a visit if you're staying in Athlone.

27/01/2024: Went to Athlone for the first time, Had lunch with family at the Mangal Grill. Ordered 2 Lamb Kofte, 1 veggie kebab and 1 chicken wrap. The food is fresh and delicious. The Kofte were made on charcoal on the order. Prices are good and quality is perfect. We were feeling a bit cold, the staff made tea for us free of cost. Amazing staff. Will surely visit again.

02/04/2024: Such a lovely ambience, loved the decor and reminded us of a little restaurant we visited on our Honeymoon in Thailand. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
