Amazing cozy restaurant serving the best seafood in the city in my opinion. Best oysters in Dublin by far and their fish and chips is also the best I’ve had in either Ireland or the UK. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. Make sure you book a table in advance because you more than likely won’t be able to just get a walk-in, that’s how you know it’s good :)

The "Fish n Chips" gem of Ireland. Tried multiple different places while in Ireland and this by far had the best fish n chips.
Lovely hole in the wall type of restaurant. Beautifully decorated, the staff is excellent(and quite funny), with a multitude of wines to pair with your dinner.
You'll need a reservation (unless you get super lucky and they have an opening!)
Loved the place, truly marvelous!

This is very nice seafood spot in Dublin that offers great quality at a reasonable price. if it is your first time here and you are looking for good fish dishes, I strongly recommend visiting this place. Even if there are other good seafood places around, the most of them are a bit more expensive than this one.
I went for grilled john dory, and it was excellent. The flesh was tender and juicy, and the olive oil and herbs beautifully enhanced the flavor.
FYI, if you are planning to come with a group, you should make a reservation in advance. Even if you are dining solo, booking ahead is recommended.

perfect, quaint little spot just north of the river - fish and chips are the stand out but don’t sleep on the oysters served on a bed of salt.

A wonderful discovery during our weekend in Dublin... delicious food, fantastic organic wines... a friendly team who made sure we had a great time... book ahead as there's a queue before they open... we were lucky...

Absolutely unreal experience. Stumbled upon Fish Shop after a Guinness tour and it is one of the best places we've been in Dublin. My wife has Celiac and they make GF fish and chips. Best fish and chips of our lives. I got the regular haddock and she got the GF hake. The servers were incredibly friendly and gave us awesome wine pairings and recommendations for spots afterwards. We were lucky and walked in at 4 when they opened with no reservation but highly recommended to make one. Thanks guys. Absolutely incredible.

The fish was gooe but the chips weren't great, worse than you'd get from a decent takeaway like Beshof's. Ah well.
