Ma. It's a small establishment with a capacity of 15 people. Only one person works in service. The prices are high. And the food isn't tasty. You can eat better fish for less.

We didn't have a reservation but got 2 seats for 45 so had nice fish and chips each, both plaice and haddock were lovely, light and flaky. On a bed of really chunky chips. Drf a place to go back to. The only downside are the bar stools but with little space, there doesn't seem like other options are possible

Great place. The Fish Burger is amazing, the fish is perfectly cooked, and the fries are also great. The portions are very large and the service is very friendly. I recommend it.

Always wanted to try here, it’s a step up from the usual fast food fish shops. It’s quite a small restaurant with a handful of high chairs around a bar. It’s very cosy, nearly too cosy no space between patrons. It’s really only a restaurant for single dinners. I don’t know how couples would enjoy dinning in this style of restaurant. Anyway that kind of atmosphere was unusual to say the least. The food however was so tasty. The crab toast as a starter was delicious and the main event fish-hake and chips was great! No mushy peas unfortunately. The lemon posset for dessert was mediocre. It’s quite a simple dessert to prepare. The pulp of passionfruit with it was okay. I wouldn’t have put it together. The shortbread was good with it. Very few non-alcohol options. Only a ginger beer and another option something else that I can’t remember. I had the ginger beer but a non alcohol wine would have been preferred. Good value for eating, not too pricey more enjoyable than an average fast food take away. Easy and accessible whilst in the city centre.

What a cute little place this is! The staff are super friendly and the food was great. We ordered some oysters, cockles, and fish and chips. We enjoyed all of the food, but the stars of our lunch were the cockles and the fish! Cockles were so plump snd juicy and their catch of the day was Hake. No words for the fish…just absolutely delicious and well cooked. Hands down was my favorite fried fish while in Dublin.

Bóbó's Gourmet Irish Burgers

18/01/2026: Great burgers. Big portions. And very friendly staff. Burgers are not heavy and made with high quality ingredients. Went back exclusively while in Dublin.
30/12/2025: Great little burger joint in Dublin city center. The menu is just right. The burgers and wraps are freshly prepared and taste delicious. The staff is also very friendly. The prices are typical for the area and totally reasonable.
