Excellent seafood, friendly, helpful staff and a great atmosphere. I had the oysters, grilled John Dory & more oysers for dessert, washed down with a glass of Muscadet. Next time, must have the fish & chips (hake, haddock & plaice were on offer on the night I visited). The bowl of mussels looked delish too.

Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Great starters and wine menu too.
Update: they no longer offer the haddock crocquettas as take away, which is a shame. They are delish and travelled really well.

Small restaurant, reservations are a must. When you walk in the atmosphere is immediately friendly and warm, service is quick and efficient. The fish was incredible and the wine list is very impressive. One thing to note, unless you plan on getting starters or a whole bottle, the fish comes out pretty quickly so it’s a quick dining experience, we were in and out in about 45 minutes

A good quality restaurant but excessively expensive. We ordered 6 oysters, 1 serving of croquettes (there are 3 small ones), 2 fish burgers, 1 Fish & chips, 1 bottle of Alvariño= €160.

I was told to come here by one of my local friends.
The place is amazing!
Fish and chips is great. There couple kinds of fish to choose from.
Mussels dish is also tasty.
Recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment

It was an unplanned visit, because some other place where we wanted to eat was closed. And we are so glad for it! This place is small, and there were fully booked for seating, but we took a takeout. This was the best fish and chips we’ve ever had! It was flaky, tasty, the garlic mayo delicious, the chips cut on the larger side, fried to perfection. We will certainly plan to come back there if we visit Dublin again.

Happened across this gem in 2019 with a quick Google maps search for fish n chips and we were blown away how good it was. As this restaurant was one of our highlights it was a must stop for this trip and once again we were not let down. The batter on the fish is light and the tarter sauce is amazing. Do yourself a favor and skip all other fish n chips and go here. If you don't want to do take away, make a reservation for a guaranteed spot or get there right at opening time for a slight chance like we did.
