The first thing you notice is the charming little shop front – it immediately draws you in with its cozy and stylish vibe. Inside, you’re met with an impressive selection of wines that perfectly complement the menu. Every starter we tried was absolutely delicious, carefully prepared and full of flavor. For the main course, we went with the classic: Fish and Chips – and it was the absolute highlight of the evening. Perfectly crispy, fresh, and simply unforgettable. The service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome throughout the evening. We had made a reservation, which is definitely recommended. Although it’s located a bit outside the city center, it’s more than worth the trip. A true hidden gem in Dublin!

When we planned our trip to Dublin, we saw this restaurant and we wanna try it absolutly. And we were not disapointed at all, the fish n chips goujon is amazing. That was excellent and the people inside are awesome! We will come back for sure! Cheers from France !

Thank you to the wonderful staff that squeezed us in for the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! My friend and I were visiting from the states and didn’t realize a reservation was needed but the staff was kind enough to fit us in right before they closed. I had the Haddock and my friend had the Plaice. Both were delicious but I highly recommend the haddock. It was a generous portion, crispy on the outside and soft and flakey on the inside. This place is small but well decorated and the staff is so kind. Thank you Ladies!!

Fabulous Meal. Small, cosy seafood restaurant with friendly & helpful staff. Posh fish & chips yes but there is more. Light bites & shellfish as well as a grilled fish option. Had the scallops, squid with toast, fish & chips (there are 3 options: hake, haddock or plaice) with delicious tartare sauce. For dessert, we had the lemon posset. I opted for oysters.. Wine list is extensive - with many good wines available by the glass (2 sizes). All was excellent!

Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador aquí. La carta de vinos complementa muy bien la comida. El personal era muy relajado y servicial. La masa en el pescado era súper ligero, lo que lo hizo realmente agradable!

The Waterloo

21/03/2025: One of my favorite pubs in Dublin. I come here every Saturday. It's delicious. Unfortunately, the large portion of chicken wings is getting smaller and smaller.
18/03/2025: Reliable spot for after work drinks and meal.

Camden Kitchen

21/03/2025: The experience had its ups and downs, not quite as impressive as its Michelin-star days in 2018, but still had some good points. The seating felt awkward if you were facing inward: leaning back made eating uncomfortable, and leaning forward felt unnatural. It might work better for a casual conversation, though. I tried the duck breast, which was cooked well and tasted good, but the dish lacked variety in textures. The arancini, with its soft filling and four different sauces, ended up feeling a bit soggy. It tasted fine but could have used something crisp to balance it out. The service wasn’t perfect, our wine glasses and water bottle were left empty for too long, but the staff were polite and helpful when they were around. We were seated at a table for four without asking, which was fine until we were asked to move mid-meal. It wasn’t a huge deal but made me question why we were seated there in the first place. There wasn’t a wine sommelier, which was disappointing for a restaurant with such a strong reputation. However, the wine list itself was decent. Overall, it’s a good place with potential, but it doesn’t quite live up to the standards of its Michelin-starred past.
