Fish Shop in Dublin

The fish was simply amazing. Hands down the best I've ever had! The staff was lovely and the atmosphere beautiful! Do not miss it!

Those who reinvent a staple need a prize, not an easy task, someone would think even unwise, but if you like Fish and Chips this is the place, promise no lies. The balance between fish and batter is ideal, but the best thing is the tartar sauce, for real they add pickles and capers, I would have it with every meal current status: head over heel! Wine selection is vast, and the menu you can read it fast. Make sure to call and reseve, don't arrive last, and get ready for your senses with Fish Shop to blast

The staff member on duty appeared unwelcoming and informed us that indoor seating was unavailable due to being fully booked, despite several vacant tables. Nonetheless, the fish burger was excellent.

It was an unplanned visit, because some other place where we wanted to eat was closed. And we are so glad for it! This place is small, and there were fully booked for seating, but we took a takeout. This was the best fish and chips we’ve ever had! It was flaky, tasty, the garlic mayo delicious, the chips cut on the larger side, fried to perfection. We will certainly plan to come back there if we visit Dublin again.

Happened across this gem in 2019 with a quick Google maps search for fish n chips and we were blown away how good it was. As this restaurant was one of our highlights it was a must stop for this trip and once again we were not let down. The batter on the fish is light and the tarter sauce is amazing. Do yourself a favor and skip all other fish n chips and go here. If you don't want to do take away, make a reservation for a guaranteed spot or get there right at opening time for a slight chance like we did.
