Fisherman’s Catch (food truck) in Kinsale

Without doubt the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Lovely lady serving, we managed to get a bench, value for money. A large fish and chips 12 euro, amazing value and no doubt the reason it seems so popular. Not greedy, I really like it and will tell everyone about it.

I honestly never fancied the Fish and Chips concept: found it a tad bit too bleak for my taste, however, these guys have something really fresh, juicy and unique. It’s safe to say that this is one of the best in Ireland. 100% recommended.

It is a Food Truck! Which isn’t a bad thing, except that it is advertised as a restaurant. We walked about a mile out of Kinsale in the rain to get there because it was advertised as the best restaurant in Kinsale. When we got there and saw that it was a food truck with no sheltered seating and not wanting to eat in the wind and rain, we turned around and walked back to town. Very disappointed.

My fiancée and I are visiting from Canada. Had a beautiful walk along the water to get here and enjoyed the best fish & chips we’ve ever had. The gentleman and lady serving us were incredibly kind. We walked 30 minutes for this lunch but we’d have gladly walked 2 hours if we knew these fish and chips were waiting for us again!!

The best fish and chips ever! Even the small potion is great value, mostly fish and a sprinkle of chips. Everything is freshly battered and cooked to order. Owners are friendly and smiley. 💯 Recommend!

Brilliant food! Crispy on the outside, yet melting in your mouth, and a generous portion of chips. We came all the way from the Rotterdam Harbour area where we have a lot of comparison material, but this is really TOP NOTCH! Keep up the good work!
