Fishy Dishy in Carlingford

We ate here on Thursday evening;Colette had booked it as a birthday surprise. The food was amazing and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The chef,apologies,didn’t get his name,came out for a chat. Definitely be back.Something for everyone-the specials board was massive! Thank you for a memorable evening.

Way overpriced for what it is , food is good but not 34eur for the main dish good. Main course more expensive than famous Johnnie fox??... wow.

Me and the wife ordered what said on the blackboard full irish breakfast but what we received were small English breakfast There was no black or white pudding and no soda bread which you associate with a Irish breakfast I think the individual parts of the breakfast should be listed so you are not as disappointed As we were

The place is extremely nice, the waiter is extremely charismatic and friendly, we ordered the oysters which seemed very fresh to me and then the main course, a very good option if you want to eat fresh seafood cooked to order.

Convenient location. Carpark next to it. We both had steak - med/rare. It was cooked perfectly and was melt in the mouth. Full of flavour. Acompanying sauce was also full of flavour. Potatoes - lots of garlic/5* and veg cooked lovely too - had a little bite to it. Desert was yummy too. Service was also excellent.

Everything we ordered tasted like it came straight from the sea that morning — so fresh and beautifully prepared. The oysters were an absolute highlight: briny, plump, and perfectly chilled. We also had the cod fish with leeks, which was tender, flaky, and full of flavour. You can really tell they use local sea catch — no shortcuts, just honest, delicious food. Highly recommended if you're in Carlingford and love seafood done right.
