Fishy Dishy in Carlingford

We walked by a number of times and finally looked at the menu and decided to go for dinner, wish we did it earlier. We had someone get the steak they loved it three people got the halibut and they loved it and I got the Dover Sole and it was unreal. Don’t walk by stop on in and have the meal!

Really nice food. We had a party of 6 and all had a starter, a main and a few bottles of normally priced wine and it was 450 euro. Very over priced. Not even a shot given to send us on our way. After giving a 60 euro tip they barely thanked us as we left. I don't think I'd go back for that reason.

Our first time in Fishy Dishy and we will certainly be back. Everything from the service to the food was absolutely perfect. Well done to everyone involved 👏👏

Haven’t been for a while and tonights return visit didn’t disappoint Husband and I shared the fish cake starter which was delicious and great sized portion . We both opted for the steak which were cooked to perfection the pepper sauce was delicious. Husband had the pear and almond tart which we both agreed was outstanding. I decided on the espresso martini which was made to perfection. The wine choice was exceptional both by bottle and glass selection. The service this evening was 10/10 and we are already looking forward to our next visit .

Myself and my mother had the most unreal meal here, I'm just sorry I was so full I couldn't have dessert as the few I saw going out to tables looked fabulous. Delighted I booked this place. The gentleman serving was such a lovely guy. Mammy had the Pil Pil and the hake and both were fabulous. I had the fishcake and the sesame and lime dressing was divine. For main I had the monkfish and it was beautiful, the salsa was such a fresh flavour on the plate. Everything was cooked to perfection, congratulations to the chefs, they're top of their game! We'll definitely be back very very soon. Just one tiny complaint, the restaurant was a tad cold for Mam. But we were in early, I'm sure on a busy night that wouldn't be an issue.

It was a meal of two half's the calamari and scampi had little flavour. Yhe fish cake and Dover sole were excellent
