What an amazing afternoon my husband and I had today everything was amazing but very disappointed that we were charged for mayo it might sound picky but who has a smoked salmon salad without mayo thank you any how for everything but I thought I would point it to you we will still be returning 😊

We came to Fishy Fishy during a day stop in Kinsale as part of eight day trip to trip to Ireland on Tauck from New York City. We came to Kinsale on a seasonable tempered day with clouds and wind but no rain. We had 2.5 hours in Kinsale on our tour so we decided to go to lunch and we had heard great things about this restaurant. Myself and two others from our tour walked into the restaurant right when it opened at noon with almost no one else in the restaurant. We were able to get a table for three but we were luckily as the restaurant was hosting many families doing communion and there was very limited availability as we didn’t have a reservation. I would generally recommend a reservation when trying to dine at this restaurant. The restaurant was spacious and welcoming. The staff at the restaurant were lovely and knowledgable. The restaurant had their main lunch menu as well as a special menu printed on paper for lunch. We ordered the mushroom arancini to share. I had a cup of the fish soup and then the scallop lunch special for my entree. Everything was lovely and fresh. I would highly recommend having lunch when visiting Kinsale and I would love to come back on my next visit.

Pretty good! Food was delicious but pricey for what it was (even in context of where it is). Service was fine and space was nice!

Very tasty, great quality ingredients. Every part of my dinner was very interesting. The fish was delicious and perfect. Fantastic and friendly staff. Great menu. Beautiful desert!! There's a bar where you can order a drink. Wals decorated by local artists paintings. Contemporary feeling of the place. I'll definitely be back!
