I stopped there one evening with some friends; nice live music and a friendly welcome are guaranteed. They probably have the best Guinness there, too. 😎

Absolute great craic, Anne and Sasha are top lasses. The locals are a great laugh, Easily the best pints in Athlone, well worth a visit. Especially if you like dogs.

But sometimes it’s not the place that stays with you, but the people — and Matheo made our Sheraton experience truly special. His kindness, patience, and genuine passion for his work were felt every single day of our stay, from breakfast to dinner he was always there to make our experience the best it could be! The Sheraton is really lucky to have him. Many thanks and I look forward to coming back.

27/08/2025: Absolutely delicious fresh breakfast menu. Very friendly atmosphere as well.
03/08/2025: Brunch time on a Friday! Place was very busy, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone attended. I had the small breakfast with a very nice coffee and the brown bread is DELICIOUS.
