Went in here for one.Stayed for 4 and would have stayed longer.Lovely pub.The owner is lovely and chatty.No pretenses.The Guinness was grand.Id easy see this being my local if I lived in Athlone.

Flannerys bar is an old type bar,with traditional music and the host Anne behind the bar is eccentric and fun and a happy place to be.

26/03/2025: Only called in to pick my husband up but stayed for hour and joined my niece nephew for coffee. Have to say overall good atmosphere great fire on just ladies toilet could do bit upgrade I'm not saying it wasn't clean..
16/03/2025: Had a pint while passing by, it was quiet, but it was awesome.
