Flannery's Bar in Athlone

I stopped there one evening with some friends; nice live music and a friendly welcome are guaranteed. They probably have the best Guinness there, too. 😎

We spent a Sunday evening here. Lovely music, staff and clientele. We didn't have food. Have great pints.

Absolute great craic, Anne and Sasha are top lasses. The locals are a great laugh, Easily the best pints in Athlone, well worth a visit. Especially if you like dogs.

Absolute favorite spot in Athlone during my study abroad trip! Came in the first night on a whim, and the welcome was so warm I kept coming back over the next month. It is a smaller spot, but the atmosphere is iconic. Ann and her dogs were my home away from home during my stay.

Really really cool place to visit if in Athlone ....saw dust is a must 🤣

The best bar in Ireland! Owned and operated by a charismatic & wild midlands woman and the staff that work for her are the best pubmen! Between the live music, dogs, patrons and the best Guinness outside of Dublin - there's not much else you could ask for. Don't visit the town without paying this pint haven a visit.

Brilliant pub, very friendly staff, great atmosphere!
