Forde’s Pub – an absolute gem in Cork! Stopped in and immediately loved the atmosphere — authentic, welcoming, and full of local charm. What a Pub. The staff what can I say absolutely superb. And the food was unreal. Will most definitely be stopping by again on my next visit to Cork. Highly recommend this pub if your looking for a place to enjoy a pint and some good food.

This is your place. If you are looking for a relaxed place to have a bite, have a drink, have a chat--with a friend or someone you just met at the bar. This is it. After a hectic day of running around the city we went here and immediately I sat back in the booth and felt relaxed and rested. Something about this place just feeds your soul. And the Toasties feed your stomach! Go here, you will not regret it.

Pompeii Pizza

22/10/2025: The place is basically inside the pub. To be honest, we took the pizza only because we didn't want to drink the beer without eating. The guys inside were very nice, and after tasting a garlic bread made with the pizza dough, we tried the pizza itself. Well, I'm not into napolitan style of pizza, but this was one of the best I tried. The only suggestion I give to this people is to cook it a little slower to burn the yeasts a little bit more, but the taste was flawless. Also, they don't put ananas on pizza, even if you ask. Good work guys, godspeed.

13/10/2025: Burgers are top notch and the fried pickles cured my hangover
12/10/2025: I'll keep this one quick. 5 Stars all around, fast, friendly and delicious. First night of our 8 day trip around Ireland and the hotel front desk raved about Son of a Bun. They were not wrong, we didn't need anything fancy, just good vibes and tasty burger and prefect fries to go along. When in Cork get the double patty with cheese!
