Foyle's Hotel in Clifden

Centrally located in Clifden. Old fashioned, in the best sense, hotel. Comfortable spacious rooms and bathrooms. Large traditional bar, public spaces and dining room with many booths. Excellent food. Customers not rushed but the staff appeared to be - efficient nevertheless. Reputation locally is high.

Had dinner and the food and service was tops. The staff was so friendly great place highly recommended

A very nice, old school hotel. It has a quaint and cozy feel. Downsides are that there is only street parking (or a municipal lot), there is also no lift (but they happily ferry your luggage up and down for you), and the guests tend to skew older.

A great old, classic quaint hotel with a nice restaurant and bar. Breakfast was included in a nice old style restaurant. My room had a nice view of the street. The hotel has a nice central location and the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel in the heart of Clifden town center with free parking. Spacious room with slightly dated decor but very clean. Very good breakfast. Very pleasant staff.

A bit run-down and impersonal, but the location is good. But OK for one or two nights.

What a fabulous experience we had. On a west of Ireland trip and Foyles has been a firm favourite for years. It was our first return since before covid, and we always have a group of musicians. Jason was so welcoming, gave us thd use of Mullarkeys Bar and it was a firm favourite. Sandra and Luke served us in the mornings and their service was a great, pleasant and swift as their smiles. Keep up the good work!!
