Franciscan Well Brewery in Cork

You cannot beat the Fran Well . Always the best vibe and the nicest staff - blessed to have this place in Cork it didn’t get much better. Absolutely love the beer garden, possibly the in the country (warm and cosy all year round) and one of the best pizzas too.

One of the best bars in Cork City. Such a good vibe both downstairs and upstairs (cocktail bar!!!!!). The pizza here is also pretty nice! So many craft beers!!

Visiting Cork for a long weekend and always after good local craft beer. The Franciscan Well didn’t disappoint on that front with excellent Hazy, IPA, and Stout. Smaller inside than I thought but large covered beer garden that was crammed on a Saturday evening in December (as was every place). But one of the very nice staff gave me a ‘reserved’ table where I could enjoy one of the pizzas from the kitchen. I think they only have pizza but good variety and super fast. Order & pay at the pizza window..

A combined bar and restaurant, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere at first, private booths, plenty of wood, and a larger indoor area. It also features a pizzeria and a brewery. Everything is ordered at the bar, both food and drinks. A wide variety of quality beers are available.

Excellent craft beers and super tasty wood-fired pizza. The band is great.

Franciscan Well Brewery – absolute perfection in Cork! What a fantastic spot! The atmosphere was buzzing, the staff were friendly, and everything just hit the mark. The pizza was so good we couldn’t resist going back for seconds — crispy, flavorful, and fresh from the oven. The beers were top-notch too, perfectly brewed and full of character. It’s the kind of place you could happily spend an afternoon (or evening!) just soaking up the vibes. A must-visit in Cork! 🍕🍺

They don't serve food (there is a pizzeria for that) but they have a big selection of draught handcrafted beers. The staff is super friendly and they let us taste a couple of beers before choosing one. We had to restrain ourselves to not drink too much, but in other circumstances this place is worth a loooong visit to taste everything. The place itself was very nice with a lot of Halloween decorations and it shows how much love the owners put inside every detail of this pub.

Oh Dear - this pub was awful. It oozed tired and under-invested in. Inside v outside - it was a tossup for which area looked the more knackered.

A great place, the stout is especially good. Good atmosphere…. A must visit if you’re in Cork.
