Friel's of Straffan in

An absolutely fantastic dining experience at Friel's of Straffan! The food was exceptional from start to finish. Without a doubt, some of the best fish and chips and the best Rib Eye steak we've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and you could tell that each dish was prepared with genuine care and attention to detail. The portions were generous and satisfying, while the prices offered excellent value for the quality of food served. The restaurant itself was spotless, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit, making us feel genuinely welcome. We were also impressed by the great selection of pints and drinks available. A huge compliment to the entire team for delivering such a high standard of food and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! 😊

Everytime i went here with family or friends the food was immaculate the service was excellent and the staff are very kind and promoting with everything, Busy spot on long weekends and a sunday so be sure to book if you aren't sure on seating, Has a beautiful outside area for the summertime and lovely indoor lounge are which stretches from one end of the pub to the other, you could easily just have a quiet pint alone in the bar or have a family dinner there's great menu choices also with fantastic selection, one of my personal favourite spots to pull into. When it comes to off road diner's this is one of the best in Kildare by far in my opinion.

We celebrated 3 family members birthdays and it was super. We were looked after so well. Music was great. The food platters were amazing. Thanks to all the staff for making it happen.

Lovely Irish pub. Nice Friendly staff. We had soup and sandwiches and all was very good. The beer was great too!

One of our favourite places to eat. The food is always of such a high quality and the friendly relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place for Sunday lunch.

Very accommodating landlady. A bit quiet for a fun night out but great for a nice chat and a pint. Food was pretty good, they clearly know what they're doing.
