Friends Bistro in Westport

A very pleasant surprise. Refined cuisine, succulent dishes, and very pleasant service. A restaurant you can go to with your eyes closed.

We meet up with old acquaintances on Sunday evening along with Daithi’s brother Paul, i didn’t anticipate the food being has excellent has the host and is staff.I had the sirloin medium rare and I must admit that it was the best steak I’ve had for a long time, I would highly recommend the Friends Bistro if you’re ever in Westport

We spontaneously booked a night in Westport and were looking for a restaurant for dinner. Difficult without a reservation. Friends Bistro still had space - just right, small, nice and quiet. The food was delicious, everything was homemade, so we were happy to wait a bit. The service is very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable.

Fantastic food and great location. If you're vegetarian, they do one of the best veggie breakfasts i've had in a long time and have a vegan version too. Fair play.

Really high quality food and probably the best breakfast in the town, does excellent dinner options also, its clean has good value and is well run, I would recommend a visit

Just a perfect dinner at Friends Bistro. We had seafood ravioli and risotto, and tiramisu. The food was exceptional, service was excellent, with a warm welcome and a lovely warm chatty atmosphere in the restaurant. Wonderful!

Lovely meal, food was excellent as was service. Owner is lovely and very customer oriented.

As always Friends Bistro is a must-visit! The starters were delicious, and the main dishes—risotto, duck, gambal and prawns—were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Excellent service made the experience even better!
