Garvey's Bar & Restaurant in Drogheda

Not up to it's usual standard. Food was ok. It was cold inside and the excuse was the door was opening and closing...really?

Lovely friendly atmosphere and nice food and the service was excellent, a particular mention for Jane...

Great food friendly efficient staff

Went in today for a late lunch meeting , two young ladies one at the entry point who asked if we had a reservation and proceeded to shout at the other young lady that tables where reserved this was just after 3pm so we went to sit at one of the many empty tables to be shouted at again about reserved tables very odd behaviour, a third lady took our order very professional and social , another girl dropped our food over who didn't know what she was actually serving very very odd . After telling us about all the reservations and reserved tables the entire bar/restaurant was empty when we left at 4.20 .

Food is very good. Unfortunately the bar close a bit earlier then most pubs last orders 1144pm ,I would have thought 12.15 /1220

Food was excellent,service was good. Unfortunately we went into the bar for drinks after our meal , couldn't have a catch up chat as music was extremely loud, but the worst was a barman called Derek 🤨unbelievable about 4/5 lads arrived in 11pm and he said your cutting it fine I was just about to close doors, pub supposed to close at 1230am so last orders should be 12/1210am not 11pm ...

Very nice and clean place, staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend here... always good ....

4 adults dropped in for lunch. We assumed it started at 12 but was not until 12:30. A chap called Brian who was serving us was really nice and helpful. He asked the girl behind the counter about lunch and she was fairly snotty alright but apart from her the chap could not do enough. Food was very good and no complaints from anyone. There was a few offers of a “top up” and checking on to see was all ok. The place is nice, clean and spacious. Very handy location and good for parking as they have their own car park.
