Gemelle's in Galway

Food tasted great. The ambiance was great. Bit on the pricey side. I didn't like that you had to order the sides separately. The service could've been better.

Delicious food and super good service. Definitely recommend it. We had the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked and it even came with a salad. I really appreciated both. The chowder was also good. We were a bit crunched on time but that was not an issue they brought our meal quickly and efficiently. Our Waiters were very nice as well.

Nice little restaurant with good service and delicious food.

The food was decent. However, I didn't think a simple side of fries would cost 6€. I mean it's just fries and the quantity for this price was not there. There are enough restaurants around.

Un an après, nous revenons au Gemeles et c’est le même plaisir retrouvé: un accueil chaleureux, une cuisine délicieuse à base de produits frais et locaux, un service attentif et attentionné, un décor plein de charme ! Excellent rapport qualité prix! Si nous programmons un autre séjour à Galway, c’est sur, nous reviendrons !

Excellent food and great service - with a smile - on holiday - so nice we returned!

I had a wonderful meal with oysters for a starter and fish. It was amazingly fresh, well cooked and was so delicious! The staff were so kind and attentively. I also love supporting a local owned business. Finally, there was a lovely outdoor eating area with great people watching. Inside and out this restaurant was a perfect Galway stop. Definitely hope to come back!
