My wife and I had a meal here...fillet steak. The best we have had in a very long time. You should try this restaurant....beautiful.

Absolute fabulous meal and the wine was lovely. Produce was divine and the steaks on a hot plate were fab and highly recommend. Atmosphere is charming and cosy. Wait staff could do with a little more training

We had booked a table for 4 of us on Saturday the 7th December for our girls weekend away. We got a great table, the food was amazing and the steak on the stone was to die for. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. We love it. Usually at Xmas u are rushed and feel food is just average but this was fantastic. Can wait to return again. Well done to all the staff for making our night a great night

Seafood pasta with wine sauce was delicious- perfect. Hake also good. The place was less crowded than other restaurants in the street, but they deserve to be full too. Maybe slightly more pricy than the others, but probably worth it. Friendly staff too.

Nice little place where we have super delicious chowder for only 11 euros! It contains an incredible amount of fish and is very filling. Because we didn't expect that, we had already ordered mussels to share in advance. They were a bit disappointing. Not a large portion and at least 7 were still closed and we couldn't open them either. But the chowder was delicious!!

04/02/2025: From booking to my stay was brilliant. This hotel is one of the most spotless hotels I've have seen in years from someone with a background and experience in hospitality l would be critical of standards but from your entrance to your restaurant and bedroom it was of 4⭐ standards. l could not fault your room at all. One of the most comfortable nights sleep l have had in a while, shower and toiletries was brilliant also. Breakfast was lovely, totally catered for me as gluten free and offered a great selection for me and put me at ease, your staff from reception to restaurant were always brilliant and easy to approach and so helpful. I will stay again. l would like to Thank you all for such a 4⭐ experience. Please take pride in your hotel and staff, keep up the amazing job you are doing, this is what is expected from 4⭐ and it is what I received 10/10

23/12/2024: Has obviously changed with new owners but not for the better. Restaurant size is reduced for the inclusion of a bakers shop. Walls are now bare. The menu and choice has somewhat shrunk. Sorry not changed for the better. Left feeling disappointed that the must have breakfast in Donegal town is no more.
25/10/2024: Great place to dine i would highly recommend this place great food great service and lovely staff
