Love this place, the food is amazing & service is fast & friendly. Needs more craft & world beers.

I Litterly almost died the food was so good . If ur looking for terrible food don't come here cause everything was amazing. Especially the sushi highly recommended the California roll i was happy as a calculator. Jeremy the waiter was so helpful my water always full and super cold. Jeff is ur reading this good job my boy.

Was looking for a place for lunch in Waterford ...and came across this place! It has character, great staff and fantastic food. Got a seafood chowder that was soo creamy and packed with fish....delicious!

Updated May 24 Still one of the few pubs that you can visit anytime and have a good crowd in. Early evening visit this time, service is always good with very experienced staff and great manner. Always busy with food service which is fast and good. Might not be as good as in previous times in my opinion but still very good value and choice. My first re visit for a long time. Very busy but still after a medium wait, food arrived and it was excellent. Drinks very good too. Compared to other places, prices are good. Still the best spot in town for the older crowd and young too. Update Nov 24: It's the second time I have got food here since last review. I had an awful experience during the day when I ordered the thai green curry but thought it might be a one off. I had food again this evening and I am very sorry to say, the food has really gone downhill. I don't know why but it has gone from pretty much restaurant quality to chip van standard. I had haddock goujons and chips.... Chips were overcooked and full of grease, they used be the best around. Haddock was overcooked and dry. It was served in a matter of minutes so I assume cooked already and popped in oil again to reheat. Very poor. I don't care about the price but the quality was not even close to acceptable. I hope it improves as I have been eating here for a long time and this is unusual.

Loved it and catered for gf and egg free moi. Lovely atmosphere, staff are fabulous and knowledgeable, food is great!

Super helpful staff, good knowledge about what was/was not gluten free for our coeliac (FYI chips not gluten free!) She had a burger on gf bread. We also ordered quiche of the day and chicken burger, both tasty. 2 desserts were gf and ice cream also was gf.

This bar is an absolute gem of a place! Cavernous yet still cosy space with lots of wood panelling and nooks and crannies. Fabulous food - can highly recommend the salt and pepper squid and homemade burgers. Fantastic Guinness on draught and what really made our visit extra special was barman Conal! Brilliant sense of humour and chat and great tips for what to see as it was our first night in Ireland. Thanks Conal, you’re a star! 🌟
