Excellent food, but the staff could be more attentive. We waited a lot to ask for our food though they were passing close to our table all the time.

We arrived early on a Wednesday. It was empty which is good… they were preparing for the evening crowd no doubt. Nice atmosphere, service mediocre, food good. Mushie pea’s were awesome!

Called in mid week, thankful to have booked a table as they were very busy. The food and service were excellent, and I will call again.

Friday night and Gertie’s was packed! We luckily got a table for the 3 of us right away when we arrived at 5:30. If we had gotten there half an hour later we would have had to wait. We ordered and our food came out quickly and presented nicely. My steak sandwich was filled with tender chunks of tasty meat and a lovely sauce. My chips could have been cooked a bit longer in my opinion, but the onion ring was fabulous! I wish I had ordered some extras. All in all a very good experience.
