Asked a local where he would recommend for fish and chips. Not only was the recommendations spot on (delicious), Shirley was so great to us. A top highlight to our ireland holiday

A bit late for this but I was here on 2018. Today I am planning to bring my 2 kids and wife to see some real Irish pub experience by next year. By the way bartender did say anvil can be given for customer ho can lift it. I did lift it back in 2018.🤣

The place is lovely. A typical Irish pub. The service was very friendly and VERY fast. The food was excellent. We ordered some off-menu specials (see photos) and the steak sandwich. Everything was delicious.

Food wasn't great , beef very salty 😒, fish over cooked , lasagna very greasy and very little pasta .

They made us, a bunch of foreign tourists, feel like their long lost friends. The employees AND the patrons welcomed us with open arms. A sincere demonstration of Irish hospitality!!!

Really enjoyed our visit. The food was very good, but the service was definitely the highlight — friendly, attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable too. A lovely spot for a meal and somewhere I’d happily come back to.

I have visited this place twice and twice they amazed me with their skills. Food was beyond any expectations and so were drinks. Two points are talking against this bar: 1. Service was a bit slow for my taste, 2. Portions are so big that desserts didn't fit into the frame. However atmosphere is incredible and everyone will find a corners for his taste and mood. Highly recommended!

Beef roast was the most tender I’d ever had 😋 all staff were lovely. And the atmosphere is super chill (that said we’re here having Sunday lunch - and will be coming back later for the live music 😅) Kids portions were big - well worth the money. My son had a bacon cheeseburger 🍔 delicious - and he was super pleased with his giant bowl of ice cream 😂 All in all very pleasant and worth a 5 star review.
