La Provence Restaurant in Athlone

Attended recently for a Confirmation. Could not fault it!! The service was amazing and the food was even better. Would definitely return and recommend.

Went there for a Mothers Day meal tonight. I couldn't fault anything about it. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Daniel looked after us and he was very polite, very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. There were a couple of very nice touches for mothers day also. We had a really lovely night and will be back. Thanks so much😁

I had an excellent experience dining at the Sheraton Athlone this weekend. The food was delicious but the overall experience was enhanced by the attentiveness and friendliness of Matas and Matthieu (Matheo) who are both assets to the hotel. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from our waiter Matheo at the la Provence brassiere, his attention to detail, charm and service was nothing short of excellent. The food and wine we had on the night was exceptional to say the least. If you are in athlone I would recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself. Thanks again Matheo.

The selection of food is great. Our daughter enjoyed the pancakes, sausages and bacon. They are all well presented and the overall place is clean and grand. All of the staff is polite and friendly. Risma is very kind and helpful. We will surely be back here summer!

We are coming every year at Christmas time and we’ve always loved our stay here. But sometimes it’s not the place that stays with you, but the people — and Matheo made our Sheraton experience truly special. His kindness, patience, and genuine passion for his work were felt every single day of our stay, from breakfast to dinner he was always there to make our experience the best it could be! The Sheraton is really lucky to have him. Many thanks and I look forward to coming back.
