Kin Khao in Athlone

Delicious Thai food! We went in downstairs and were a little surprised, but it got even better as we went upstairs. The lemonade was also incredibly tasty. The ambiance was nice, with hard chairs. 😊

Delicious Thai food with a dedicated vegan menu. Full of flavour and quick attentive service. Thoroughly recommended. Please note the restaurant bio on here says dog friendly, alas they are not.

Wow, they made a huge impression on me, such authentic flavors. Even though they have a Michelin star, you don't feel strange, it's so natural, all of Asia. The portion is large, I have no comparison with the portion on site, because I ordered takeaway. Delicious, large option to choose from toppings. I recommend it, you certainly won't regret it.

Lovely meal at Kin Khao in Athlone. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the crispy wantons and chicken massaman curry. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Will definitely be back again!

Stir fried vegetables in chilli and basil with tofu and jasmine rice on the side was an absolutely delight to savour! Great waiter with friendly demeanour. The ambience, bohemian and eclectic, was transportive, bringing the Thai cultural vibes to central Ireland. Overall, highly appreciated hence highly recommended!

Our favourite place to eat when we're in Athlone!

Coconut curry was amazing. I'm sad I live overseas and can't get this more often! The drunken noodles were also very good. We got take out, but the restaurant seemed to have a nice atmosphere.

My wife and I stumbled across this place while in Athlone for the night. It’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had in the most unexpected place.

Average food. Portion size was adequate. Staffs were lovely.
