We went here after it was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The food portions are huge but food is delicious. We shared Chicken wings and then each we had the Chicken & Chorizo pasta, Chicken & Mushroom Vol-eu-vants and Seabass.

Had lunch here, it was good, really enjoyed the seafood chowder, and my partner had the fish goujon burger with chips which was also good. Had a blt sambo which was a bit bland but overall we were happy enough.

We shared a very good meal: fish soup and pasta with chicken and chorizo. It was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were very well received. Impeccable service. Very good food. Top quality. I recommend it.

They stuck us in a side room which was like a bare bones coffee shop instead of the main area. The burger was well done although I didn’t ask for well done - I had to cut it into tiny pieces to eat it all. Not a great experience.

The most lovely young staff I’ve seen. Really accommodating. Set up dinner outside as I had dog. The dinner was absolutely lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough. Really pleasant and nice atmosphere

Great fish and chips, No dogs allowed, no decor, no frills, really just pub grub, but fresh and good value for money 😀. View amazing, but from the road, not the pub windows as thats a car park. Was overcharged by the price of a pint, given no receipt. Perfect spot to eat with attentive staff. Thanks again for a delicious meal.

Achill Cliff House Hotel & Restaurant

23/09/2025: This was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Brilliant service, warm friendly reception, very clean spacious room (5) with tv and all usual comforts. Towels changed and beds made each day. The outstanding feature was the dining area and the huge choice on the menu including breakfast. The range of seafood choices was heavenly and the quality and presentation was excellent. We enjoyed our 3 day visit and would happily return again. Well done Achill Cliff House.
