Glas in Dublin

First of all, I should say that the overall experience was fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the market for something like it. I'd describe what "it" is as a budget friendly fine dining experience. From the amuse bouche to the desert each course was designed with clear intent and a high level of craftsmanship. However, this also makes me judge the food to a much higher standard than I would in a casual dining restaurant. This leads me to explaining why I deducted one star from the "food" category - there were a few small issues. The chestnut mousse had a little bit of grittiness to it and the rum truffle just felt superfluous in this dish, nevertheless I would 100% order it again. The caramel crust on the apple cake a burnt in one place leaving a single bite of it unpleasantly bitter, probably not a recurring issue given that it was a small bit on one of the two cakes at the table. Lastly the flavours in the hazelnut gnocchi could have been a bit more intense (especially the hazelnut) and the crumble crunchier and crumblier, as is it was better described as "hard", but not to the point of being genuinely problematic. Everything else about the dishes we tried was utterly perfect. So were the drinks and the staff. Genuinely a very nice restaurant. I wouldn't be all that surprised if Glas found its way back into the guide eventually. Note: make sure to book your table early

Beautiful high end vegetarian restaurant. Lovely inside and very warm and attentive service. Good selection of dishes, lunch is great value, a little bread would be nice as my only observation. Excellent desserts too.

Even if you're not a vegetarian (which I'm not), this restaurant is FANTASTIC. Centrally located, really cozy atmosphere, absolutely delicious food + top-notch wine selection and great service. An enthusiastic 5-star review for Glas! I will be coming back here many times!

Stopped by and had no idea this was a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Was amazed at the flavour profiles and plating. Had great service from Connor at the bar and had an overall amazing experience! I'll be back next trip. ❤️

We liked the food and loved that it’s all vegan and vegetarian food. For a fine dining experience the staff could have been more hospitable and charming. The food was missing the final twist. We have been there for Dinner and think the food would have been better for lunch.

I would expect more from a restaurant of this level. Food was tasty, with the exception of one dish that was not good at all in texture and flavor. Sevice was ok, nothing exceptional, and the place needs desperately renovation.

Fantastic food. As a Celiac, I loved that it was all gluten free. The vegan options were delicious as well, especially the mushrooms and ice cream. Just wish eat plate had come with more food.

Glas is a wonderful little restaurant in Dublin. It is a dedicated gluten free menu with the majority of menu offerings also being vegan. The food is amazing. Truly incredible! Llevó a mi mamá aquí para su cena de cumpleaños. Desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta, el personal era increíble. Muy atento, amable y acogedor. Todos ellos estaban muy bien informados en el menú y nos dieron una copa de Prosecco de cortesía para el cumpleaños. No solemos optar por comida vegana/vegetariana, pero mi mamá es intolerante al gluten. Sin embargo , la comida era increíble , y cada plato se nos explicó en detalle cuando llegó a la mesa. Realmente fue una noche encantadora y volveremos seguro.
