Best dinner I had in Ireland. We did not take any pictures because we were enjoying ourselves to remember! Staff were so helpful navigating several allergies. The food was delicious and the combinations of ingredients were so fun and different. This was a bit of a late addition to our itinerary and I'm so glad we went!

Mullingar House

20/02/2026: This was only a short bus journey or about a 15 minute walk from the hotel we were staying at (West County Hotel) we fancied something local instead of going into the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, everything was explained to us when we arrived, specials etc.. it was just a cosy, homely atmosphere. The food was great and lots of it too.

05/02/2026: Unsure of fire exit. Downstairs door locked. Only way out was up the stairs.
03/02/2026: For gluten free beer drinkers, this ks the place. They had a variety of option from lagers to stouts and also ciders.
