Glendine inn in Kilkenny

Very friendly and helpful staff, food was great and rooms couldn’t be faulted!

The food was good and tasty. Very friendly staff, and breakfast was perfect for us. The room isn't really recommended. The mattress was sagging, and we had a double bed that was too small for two people and a separate second bed that was too small for one person.

Very spacious rooms, convenient location on the main road, with parking, good breakfast. There's a pub below the hotel, which also offers excellent and hearty meals.

Amazing set up, food , home style , staff are so happy to help and go that extra mile for families. Must visit in Kilkenny.

Comfortable place to sleep for a night while you're traveling

A cozy place with a very cool pub restaurant. The rooms were average. We had a problem with the bathroom. As soon as we turned on the water, it started to smell awful like sewage and it didn't go away. Thank goodness it was one night. I have to highlight the help at the restaurant, as we were traveling with a baby with allergies, and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. It's a bit far from Kilkenny. 25 minutes walk or 5-10 minutes by car.

We stayed just one night at this B&B. The room was okay. Tea and coffee with a kettle are always a plus... The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner here in the evening for convenience: we ate well (smoked salmon bread and a good sirloin accompanied by potatoes and other vegetables), and the beer was excellent, but in Ireland you can usually be sure of this at a more than reasonable price. The property is located right on the main road to Kilkenny, so it's easy to find. Parking was available in front of the building, which is great when you're on a road trip like us. We were four friends (two couples). Overall, more than good. One last thing...the breakfast: okay (we had booked a room with breakfast), both continental and Irish (several options). The place is about twenty minutes from Kilkenny, so if you want and the weather permits, you can take a walk to the town center, which is very charming and inviting, with a castle and adjoining park... Both are best visited only until late afternoon.

Authentic, friendly, nice - perfect!

Lovely spot for carvery lunch. Chef serving us was a lady, she took her time to make sure all children got what they wanted to eat, wonderful service with a smile. Definitely be back.

Huge additional outdoor area, hatch window bar and food service, off license take aways and good table service. These guys have invested a lot into development. Go support them.
