Grain & Grill Restaurant in Cork

I've stayed here a few times. Have to say the staff were fantastic. Didn't experience what the other reviewer mentioned during my stays, it's well staffed with a very friendly and chatty crew. As was the hotel. The quality of food can vary, frankly, between mediocre and "pretty good" but with the resident's discount it's fairly priced.

I appeared to be the only person eating here - the receptionist from the main lobby had to go and find a waiter from the staff room...? Waiter wasn't very professional for a 4 star hotel and gave more of a punk cafe vibe but overall service was ok. Food took 15 minutes for a sandwich baring in mind I was the ONLY person there. Lady who brought the sandwich from the kitchen across the main lobby was lovely.
