Super nice place to come and eat something savory or sweet during the day, after visiting The Rock. The boss is very friendly and took the time to chat with us and give us advice for our next tourist visits.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. The friendliest and warmest welcome, with tour guide level knowledge. Very reasonable prices and hearty food.

A charming place to have a good coffee or tea accompanied by a homemade sweet. Or eat something, like the soup of the day or sandwiches. Delicious and the people who run it couldn't be nicer.

A cute little cafe on the Rock of Cashel. The service is very nice and you can sit in a small, cozy beer garden. Toilet is very clean and nicely done.

The sandwiches and cakes are excellent. The staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend dining at the foot of Rock of Cashel. Simple but effective concept. Thank you for your welcome.

Absolutely recommended if only for the warm welcome and atmosphere. Sure it’s simple food but very well done. Doesn’t get more Irish then this, absolutely love it.

12/10/2024: Tasting menu with wine arrangement, great dishes, and above all a nice explanation of each wine. Fast and good service.
24/09/2024: An exceptional restaurant, loved the bread, the Chablis, the venison and many more. The room itself is beautiful and relaxing and the service was as good as you get. Will be returning at some point in the near future. In my top 2 restaurants in Ireland.

The Bake House

07/06/2024: Had an hour stop on way from Dublin to Cork circa 10.30am on Friday morning, queue outside door! take away food superb, and the added bonus of being able to purchase a homemade gluten free loaf. Their cakes are sublime and I purchased some to take home.They have a room upstairs where one can enjoy coffee & food from the downstairs counter. Also availalbe are bacon & sausages (no eggs). Really very good.
05/06/2024: Chocolate chip cookie with marshmallow on top coated in chocolate was amazing! Cupcakes had good cake that was not overly sweet. Lightly frosted which I prefer. Quiche was lovely. Everything was fresh and the service was warm. Very cute upstairs café areas to sit and eat. I would love to return and try more items.
