A very nice café with simple yet delicious items like cakes, various sandwiches, soup of the day, tea, and coffee (also with oat milk!), and the prices are reasonable and fair. Highly recommended!

What a lovely café after visiting the Rock of Cashel!
A very friendly owner, delicious homemade cakes, and good coffee—what more could you want?
We also received great background information about the place, the visit of the German Federal President over 40 years ago 😉, and the stonemasons from Regensburg who were involved in the construction of the chapel in the 12th century 👍.
Thank you so much!!!

Popped in at the end of the day, having been up to the rock of Cashel. Warm welcome and lovely garden with sunshine. After ordering tea we were tempted by the whiskey fruit cake…. And we were not disappointed 😋
On paying the gentleman serving gave us some pointers for Cahir which was our next stop.
Definitely worth a visit!

Very cute little spot to escape the Irish elements. Simple well priced food and drink options. We had tea, cake and soup, and it really hit the spot.

Charming café with delicious food and kind service.
We enjoyed two hot sandwiches with hot chocolate after touring the castle, the perfect treat on a cold and rainy morning. The cozy warmth of the café made it even more inviting.
The location couldn’t be better, conveniently right by the castle’s parking lot.

We went all the way to Granny’s Kitchen because of the good reviews, unfortunately we found it closed, even though on Google they stated to be open

We stumbled upon this place by pure luck. The kids were hungry and wanted to grab a snack. We ordered some cheese toasties and some cheese and tomato toasties. I had a slice of rhubarb pie with cream and a cappucino. We also had a cup of soup with soda bread. The food was great - what was even better was the conversation with the cafe owner, who told us all about the Rock and places to go to in Dublin and things to do. It felt like an afternoon tea with a neighbor.
