I always try and make a visit to the green rooster when I visit Tralee. It never disappoints. Homely atmosphere, eat in with plates and cutlery. Real food. A step above a generic chain experience. I look forward to eating there again next time I am in Tralee

Absolutely amazing old school best way to get a takeaway.If u eat in served on plate.Chips are home made chips ,burgers are amazing.

Fish and chips was delicious. Both Fish and chips were not fat. The coal sallad and peas were very tasteful as wel. The service was friendly, correct, and personal!

We stopped in for a hamburger as a late night snack. The place was very busy but there was not a long wait. It has both takeaway & eat in. We ate in. The hamburgers were delicious & very reasonably priced. Service is very good. If you are I a hurry & would like good, fresh food made to order, this is the place to go!

19/09/2025: Order placed at the kiosk and served quickly. Free parking nearby.
28/08/2025: Food freshly cooked usually. However its annoying they don't take payments in the drive tru separately especially when ordering for 10+ people [care home] as it makes the ordeal of sorting change afterwards very difficult. Thus policy needs to be looked into !!!! Its just as easy as taking orders from a number of cars in the queue. The service is good otherwise when everything is correct.
