Food Was Excellent. Highly recommend chicken wings to start and the turkey & ham dinner was one of the best I have had. The waitresses are very friendly and very efficient. Top place for food and service

The Willows bar is near Glen of the Downs Exit 10 on the N11 Nice bar several areas for eating & a restaurant. Food is varied and is served hot. Theres no sign for this bar on the Djouce side & as it's the only restaurant around kilmacanague after Roundwood a new sign is warranted.

Brilliant as always! Went with a group for Christmas celebration and the first was equally to or better than the best restaurant Inn the city. Everything was done too a T. Well done Dinny and crew!

Great food at great prices . Serve all pallets. Can't wait to go back. Beautiful dining room. Large open fire and cosy hubs to talk. Had a traditional turkey dinner. Plenty helpful. Beautiful scenery around. Definitely a place to go. Cannot wait to go back.

Lovely place for lunch or dinner, excellent food and lovely friendly staff. We have returned twice since our first trip to the Grove for dinner. Highly recommended. Roast beef and the turkey dinners are a winner. A good old fashioned feed.

An excellent spot for good food and first class service. Nothing too much trouble. Just a small wish and that is that you would provide a sauce suitable to a particular meal as food a little on dry side but only a small gripe. Otherwise you're doin a great job!

The Hungry Monk

24/12/2024: We had not made a reservation in advance, but we were early and so the friendly owner allowed us to come in for another 1.5 hours with the seven of us. We had a delicious meal and drank a local IPA (Wicklow Wolf). The dessert was also very tasty. The nice thing about this restaurant is that there is no loud music. You create the atmosphere yourself by talking to each other. If you want to hear music, you can stand in the hallway and listen to the monks singing. ;)
23/12/2024: Top class food, and first class service. The owner is a chip off the old block, highly recommend.

27/12/2024: Very enjoyable evening for drinks with family and friends.
24/11/2024: Unfortunately I've no photos, I was too hungry, the food was very well presented and it tasted even better.. We were a party of 5, between us we ordered fish and chips, beef and Guinness and I'd one of the daily specials. Finger licking dishes, we all left happy and full. A big shout out to Andrew, who I worked with over 30 years ago, great at his job, he never lost it. I will definitely go back there.
