Lovely pint of Murphy's. Great bar with lots of character & characters as customers too! Welcoming bar staff, dog friendly, nice beer garden out the back. Choice of background music was good too. Stop by if in Schull

Loved this cosy place with its very interesting interior, especially in its back area. Thanks to barman, Max, for being so friendly and welcoming, especially after just having the worst experience ever at the bar on the corner across the street. (I hope that I remembered your name right: the very tall guy.) We met a bunch a locals in the back and had the best craic! Definitely go here! We'll be back too.

Absolutely loved this place! It was so easy going and friendly. Max was a great barman who remembered your name the following night, nice touch. And Jo was very helpful with her knowledge of Cork and places to go for drinks and food. Met some lovely folk on our first night who we will be keeping in touch with. Thanks for making our visit to Schull worthwhile.

Dificult to describe, encapsulate the charm and intimate atmoshere of this wonderful cosy pub. Don't imagine it has many rivals. Certainly nothing resembling it in Dublin where I now live having relocated from Cape Town.. The woman who runs the bar was an extremely pleasant and interesting person, adding to the unique charm of the place.

11/10/2024: We arrived as this place opened (they don't take reservations) and the place filled up quickly. Alice served us and was really nice. We had no complaints about the pizza. It's a chill and relaxed place and everyone was very friendly.
27/09/2024: Nice vegan, vegitarian, fish and meat options. Walked in on Friday night. No reservations needed

Bunratty Inn

13/10/2024: Visited The Bunratty Inn while in the area. It is usually quite busy anytime I've been in Schull. Decided to give it a try as I had not been there for sometime. I was not disappointed. I opted for the warm chicken salad. It was absolutely gorgeous. It had loads of chicken and a lovely salad. Staff are attentive and the kitchen was turning out some lovely dishes. Be aware though the kitchen closes for an hour in the afternoon, so time your visit. I will call again when in the area.
03/10/2024: Good selection of great food. Excellent portions. Friendly staff.
