June 2025: A great traditional pub in Leenaun just south of the head of the fjiord; nice pint of Guinness and a half of the Zero too. The food was a tasty fish and chips and the goat cheese parcel with salad. If you are in a Motorhome or camper van you can park overnight opposite in the public carpark for free which comes with a great view over the waters of the fjord.

Cozy pub/restaurant with a great view. The mussels were fresh and delicious, the seafood chowder was creamy and rich, and the crispy buttermilk chicken goujons were also really good.

Might be a fine place. Menu looked fair but was overheated, loud with familues and crammed full on a Sunday afternoon.

Vegetarian & Normal Person’s restaurant. The best seafood chowder I’ve ever had. Tomato soup also excellent.

Very nice family restaurant. Lovely waitress and good fish and chips! The mussels were good too!

We ate at Hamiltons today with three generations of the family. It was the best experience we have had out west after many years. They made room for us, service was super, food was fabulous and Maura even went chasing us down the street when we forgot our bag! I had a daily special, the seafood platter, which was super. The kids chicken and fish were made fresh and gobbled up by our kids. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Nous avons bien mangé, burger d'agneau, moules irlandaises, gratin de poissons, les serveurs sont très sympas. Il y avait même un dessert sans gluten, et un menu pour enfants. Le bruit pourrait être un peu fort pour certains mais ça fait très ambiance irlandaise de pub. Il y a néanmoins beaucoup de monde, donc pensez à réserver.

Best food in IRELAND 🇮🇪!!!! Loved the seafood pie and fish and chips….amazing toffee pudding and service incredible….only downfall was the Americans that sat beside us with a poodle were rude…just saying
