Hannons Hotel in Roscommon

I made a pit stop at Hannon’s Hotel, hoping to enjoy a hearty meal. I ordered the chicken curry with chips, but to my disappointment, the dish fell short of expectations. The curry was served tepid and lacked distinct flavor; it came across as exceedingly bland and unappetizing. The chicken was overcooked, and the consistency was far too watery, leaving the entire experience feeling rather lackluster. The chips, rather than providing a crispy contrast, were soggy and unappealing. Overall, I found the meal to be quite unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend it.

Room we had was huge,clean and fresh breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots to choose from.older barman wasn't very polite.bar food was nice too.

Had a meal here and it was lovely 😍 service was really good. Called at hotel for food due to ease of parking and no reservation required. Went back again the following week and still the same experience. Would recommend 👌 Husband is fussy and he enjoyed his food 😀

Top class service in an unpretentious little hotel on the outskirts of town. Warm, friendly, great value and grub, speedy un fussy service. Highly recommended

The hotel was really good but the room was very cold

Didn't stay, we called in for dinner and Wow....cabbage and bacon dinner was excellent. Top class with a family friendly atmosphere. Keep it up Hannons.

Stopped of here on the way home from Knock for something to eat. And glad we did the food was excellent the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will dropback In the next time Im down that way .

After a long day of private tarot reading in the Fabulous Hannon’s Hotel Sunday 29th of September. I was served the most amazing evening meal. The staff are extremely warm polite and professional. Highly recommend from me 🙏

Quite an old dark inside hotel and noisy due to busy road. Good to stay for a short period.
