Harbour Restaurant in Donegal

Booked a table easily online here during our stay in Donegal. My husband and I shared the spiced king prawn starter, he had the hot n spicy pizza and I had the harbour fishcakes with a side of onion rings and they were delicious and very filling! We were seated and served very quickly by friendly and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend coming here to eat if you're ever in Donegal.

Visited Donegal last week and had a fantastic dinner at The Harbour. We unknowingly arrived on a holiday (Mother's day!) and they fit in our group of 5 even though they were booked up with reservations. Our waiter Cahir was exceptional, patient and very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and allergies. Food and atmosphere was phenomenal, and it was a lovely welcome to Donegal. Would highly recommend!!

The muscles and soda bread was very good. The steak and peppercorn gravy was delicious. The fish/cod stew with muscles was delightful. The parking was about a block away. The place was packed but we did not have a problem getting in. The drinks were also very good and bartender made a wonderful old fashioned. It was a bit loud with all the tourists but still a great place to dine.

We came to Donegal late about 8 pm, i search and is the best puntuation in Google maps. So we went there. The first contact a waiter that speaks Spanish, that it's a point when in your group not everybody speaks English. When we get the food all was wonderful, probably one of the best hamburguers in ireland that i tried, but the best was the turkey, the stuffing was like my family recipe, tasty and moist that in a turkey is quite difficult. Also the desserts were wonderful. If you came to Donegal came here. Very recommended. Dock in the harbour and have a good time.

Simply excellent. Ireland is generous and friendly. This restaurant reflects all that. And very good music as a bonus. Then on to MC Cafferty's who recommended this good restaurant to us.

Was visiting the area and went here for Sunday lunch. Food was really tasty, I had the turkey and ham roast which was great. They also had vegan options which was useful for a couple in our group. Service was great, both waiters were extremely attentive and helpful. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Donegal.

Stopped in on a cold, windy Monday night in February. Had a perfect lamb stew and the obligatory Guinness. Wife had fish cakes and a cider. Very kind and attentive staff.

We went here two nights in a row when visiting Donegal - lovely fresh seafood and delicious apple pie! Great service as well, would definitely recommend!

Overall the food we had was good. My husband had fish and chips which was a sizeable portion and very fresh. I had the soup which was disappointing (it seemed like it wasn’t homemade) this was disappointing. Service was a tad a slow in terms of drinks coming by
